With content from Oxford University Press. My Phonics Flashcards bring’s Oxford University Press’ Biff, Chip and Kipper in fun word mini games and flashcards designed to assist kids learn. It is an enjoyable method for kids to practise reading high frequency words through playing mini games. This apk includes inbuilt flashcards with common, high frequency words that kids need to learn to recognise by sight. Some of the words are decodable, but the aim of the apk is to receive kids recognising and reading all the words quickly, without decoding them. This mini game uses synthetic phonics to break down the words to create them easier to understand and learn. The 3 mini games are designed to assist your kid quickly recognise and read high frequency words, build reading confidence, whilst having fun at the same time! Sound detective helps identify phonics through choosing words with the spoken sound contained within. Sound snap is a fun mini game to snap the cards that include the same phonics sound. Fishing is a fun method to identify the sound of words by choosing the spoken words. As well as the mini games, the apk has a mode where you can scroll through the entire card set to consolidate learning.
