This application gives you access to two rhyming dictionaries: a French dictionary (106 000 words) and an English one (72 000 words). It will be definitely useful for songwriters: the number of syllables and a few options will assist you to search the right word that fits to your melody. Two separate searches are accessible for both dictionaries: 1. Find for a rhyme First you need enter a word (minimum two heroes) and choose the number of syllables (from 1 to 6 and more). As an example, if you are looking for words rhyming with “cheese” in 2 syllables, an alphabetically sorted list of 1259 words will appear. Then, you can reduce the number of words found with extra options like "begin with", "include" or "end with". These options are not important for the initial find but will be helpful to reduce the number of results. Based on the previous example, you can find for words rhyming with "cheese" in 2 syllables starting with "br". As a effect, a list of 23 words will be displayed. The “end with” parameter can be used to list excellent rhymes (you can find for words rhyming with “passion” and that end with “ion”). 2.
