With the My Alerts apk from AlertSense, you can keep life-saving emergency alerts from public security agencies, advanced warning of severe weather and community notifications that impact you and your family. My Places: Simply add the places that matter to you. For example, you should identify your home, your child’s school, where your aging parent resides, the university where your older kid attends, and your office. When you travel, you can enable the apk to monitor your current place in order to keep any emergency alerts issued for the town or place you are visiting. Types of Alerts I Can Select to Receive: Severe Weather Alerts Receive advanced warning of severe weather when you or one of your places is in the direct path of the storm. AlertSense receives feeds from the National Weather Service, automatically interprets the geographic place affected, and delivers targeted alerts immediately to apk players when one of their places falls within the impact place. You can tailor your alert settings by place, choosing the severity level for which you wish to keep notifications. For example, you can select to keep only the most severe weather warnings or all watches and advisories as well. Public Security Alerts Receive emergency alerts from public security alerting authorities, notifying you of situations that threaten the security of yourself or those you care about. Public security alerts contain happenings such as crime, active shooter, imminent danger, hazardous materials, wildfire, floods and the need for immediate evacuation. Community Notifications You can also select to keep notifications of happenings in your community that, while not life-threatening emergencies, still impact your everyday life and commute, such as street closures and power outages. Please Note: If a place you enter is not currently covered by a public security agency who utilizes the AlertSense Service, you will keep severe weather warnings but not public security alerts or community notifications for that place. If your town or county does not currently utilize the AlertSense service, contact your local public security organization and allow them know that your community would benefit from this service. R. Goering: The apk won't allow me add places and won't detect my place. I've tried restarting the smartphone, and tried to enable all the place permissions I found, but nothing. Edit: a few hours later the apk has straightened out and allow me add a place. It also follows me. The only trouble now is it doesn't actually alert me to any warnings in my County.
