  Ted Schneider: I've been a BMW owner for the past 10 years. Most recently a 2011 740i. In the tech department, my 2013 Fusion Energi blows the BMW out of the water. My Ford Mobile is a gratis apk that provides an unbelievable amount of control remotely over your car. I'm perplexed by the myriad negative comments on this apk. My Fusion Energi is the first vehicle I've owned with an app...period! I can lock, unblock, begin, locate and set my charge parameters from my smartphone! I think it's very cool. I'm impressed.

  A Google user: OK, the modernize installed yesterday (7 May) has cured all issues. The apk loads and even seems to be quicker to answer than any time previous. Since downloading the latest modernize , the apk has wholly ceased functioning. What gives? 4/12/2019: Just installed newest modernize and the apk remains dead in the water. Now that's engineering. 4/20/2019: Still won't load.

  Geoff Burstow: I love the apk. It works everytime i have asked it to do something. Only trouble it has is the current distance i have left on the battery is various from what it actually is - apk says i have 90 km left, i receive in the vehicle and it says 170 km. not sure why.

  Nick Paris: Called the tech line. They took the info and had their "engineering squad" work on it. I was rather skeptical, but not only did they call back with a fix THAT WORKED, they followed up the next week to check that their fix did in fact work. Beautiful impressive to me, as I have become used to most territories never calling back or answering voice mail. To call an 800 number for a non-purchase, not have to wait on keep for over 30+ minutes, not have to repeatedly call back for a reply, and have them actually follow up with me to see if it worked, was nice.

  Douglas Finch: The apk works well with my Samsung Galaxy S5. It is good what the application will do. It really makes you a better driver. Ford is so far ahead of another manufacturers when it comes to technology. Thank you Ford. I do like the fresh modernize. The contrast on the screens create the info much easier to read. Does Ford monitor and contact owners of cars on the application that aren't being driven or no longer own. Those vehicles create it impossible to move up into the top ten in your region. You need visit your Ford dealer to have your embedded modem updated at no charge to continue using My Ford Mobile. The current modem has been decommissioned by Ford. Be sure Ford has your current address to receive these updates from them.

  C Soto: Review edit: Any problems I had with the apk was simply from the fuse in my CMax that connects your smartphone to the MyFord system. The apk had helped me phenomenally with remote begin and temperature, it helped lock and unblock doors when keys weren't around me, it tracked my mileage and the individual mpg for each trip, most of all it helped me KNOW WHEN MY EV BATTERY WAS GOING TO BE/IS FULLY CHARGED.

  Brian Lewis: Tom Cunningham has it right. I bought my cmax installed the apk but it did not work. Followed his directions about stopping apk clearing player data and restaring apk. Works excellent now. See charge status and begin care remotely. Works good. Give the apk other possibility.

  Chris Wojtowicz: This apk basically has three functions. 1) View the battery and fuel level in your vehicle. Neat. Works well and as advertised. 2) Station searcher. I never use this function as there are another apks out there that work better. The mapquest map used here requires that you use arrow buttons to move around the maps (no touch/slide help). 3) Remote control allows you to lock/unlock your vehicle. This is really the only reason I use this apk at all. It's simple to use and works as advertised. It also allows you to 'begin' your vehicle, but for what purpose? Even if you set the A/C to 65 and HIGH prior to shutting down, and then use remote begin later, your vehicle will not pre-cool. It starts the engine, but doesn't pre-cool/pre-heat. So, again...what's the point. 4) Data! I like this part of the apk which shows trip/charge logs, live car locator, etc. Awesome job, Ford.

  Robert Dettman: I'm in the minority here but I love this apk. Yes it gives some goofy readings for the accomplishments but honestly who cares. You can't just back out of the apk or else you have to re-enter you log in info once more. Just go to the home screen from whatever page you're on and then you can log back in with just the pin #. Not excellent but not a deal breaker either. I like getting notifications that my vehicle is done charging and I love being able to look at the trip log and see a summary of my most latest trips. It's interesting to see how far my destinations actually are and how much energy I used to receive there. I love the fact that I can use to remote begin the vehicle and to remote lock it if I'm not sure that I actually locked the doors upon exiting. And the best part is that this is all gratis. I like the price. Hopefully someday it will be excellent but for now it's still beautiful awesome

  Douglas Kerr: Fine, I have always had a bit of an problem with MyFord Mobile. But over time, it has proven to be beautiful reliable. And I have other EV that has a mobile apk that is much less reliable (Fiat 500e). But any loss in stars is created up for with the fresh Android device Wear connection. IT IS GREAT!! I can lock and unblock, remote begin the vehicle from the first screen. It has a terrific design, that allows easy swipes to see all sorts of details, including the vehicle place.
