The NDSIII provides primary diagnostics for N i s s a n and I n f i n i t i vehicles. It is intended for newer vehicles that have a 16-pin OBDII connecter and use Consult III protocol over CAN. Those are usually vehicles build between years 2007 and now. The connector is typically located near the fuse box. This application supports petrol vehicles. It communicates with the engine ECU using Consult III protocol. It uses the same communication protocol as the dealer diagnostic program. This protocol is far more comprehensive than the generic ISO15765 protocol. The video recorder function saves an mp4 video file with accompanying data log file. Overlay tool such as RaceRender can then be used to generate videos with custom data visualization. A Bluetooth diagnostic adapter is needed to connect to the vehicle. This apk is design to work with adapters build on the famous ELM327 chip. They are very well priced and accessible from a lot of Internet suppliers or eBay. For a list of inspected adapters please visit our website. NOTE: There are a number of adaptors from China with fake ELM327 v2.1 chip. Those adaptors do not have all needed commands and are not supported. Look for adaptors with v1.5 or v1.4 chip. A Google user: This apk is good if you have a 2007+ Nissan. It shows parameters that no another OBDII apk can even come close to. I had the toughest time getting my 2007 350z to attempt an idle relearn procedure by doing the manual pedal procedure. This apk does it at the touch of a button. Those of you having problem just need to invest in a decent OBDII Bluetooth device. I tried the cheap ebay ones and they simply don't work. The one that did work for me was the BAFX device from amazon; its cheap, has good reviews, and worked good with this apk.

A Google user: For me it was worth the cash just for the idle air volume learn function! But the data logging features are very awesome too, especially if the standard ODB interface on your vehicle is slow like on mine. Better documentation would be nice but it's not too hard to figure everything out.

A Google user: Good tool with potential. Works with no problems on my 2011 G37 with MX adapter. Is the author going to continue provide updates to this tool to add more features? Since this tool uses the actual consult III protocol a lot of features can be added to this tool in later versions.

li san: Awesome scanner ...for the Nissan infinity ..odb2..you receive more data from this app..than other...some bugs I think..are there still, it needs to explain how to use the throttle ..vtc adaptations....there that steps that need to be followed...the data refresh ...a tiny slow.....after all i dont a a reliable obd mine is a 1.4 elm327 ...whats kmow tobwork with this apk?

A Google user: Everything else works on this apk. Connection is quick data logging is seamless and all the parameters I'd ever need. Five stars if you have an idea why the idle air volume relearn doesn't work. Always returns "failed..." I tried it on my wife's Infiniti, too. Same results. Using genuine elm 327 1.5v. Will test with a hard cable to see if it works.
