Play the acclaimed PC survival RPG on your smartphone and phone! (Gratis infinite time demo with IAP to unblock full ver. Note that only full ver can save progress.) NEO Scavenger is a mini game where you must survive in the wasteland long enough to figure out who you are. Each turn, you must decide where to go, how to scavenge for supplies, and how to deal with anything and anyone you encounter. And with each passing min, the pit in your stomach grows, your dehydration worsens, your muscles tire, and your body temperature drops in the cold autumn air. Select your starting abilities carefully, because they and your wit are the only programs you have in the apocalypse! FEATURES: Unique Setting - Near-future, post-apocalyptic Michigan with local cryptids and folklore. And something else beneath the surface... Turn-Based Play - Take your time with each turn, and play at your own pace. Save and quit when you wish, and resume later. No Grinding - There are no XP in NEO Scavenger. No levelling-up. Instead, progress comes from learning how to play the mini game better, and using your strengths to your advantage. Semi-Random - Much of the map is randomized each mini game, including the place of ruins, monsters, weather, and certain quest branches. Sandbox or Story - Find for clues to your identity, what happened, and who's hunting you. Or simply try your mettle versus man and nature alike. Play how you wish! Abilities and Flaws - Select abilities and flaws each time you play. Various combos unblock various abilities and quest branches. Crafting - Extensive crafting system which allows for substitutions of related stuff. Create a rifle scope from half a pair of binoculars, or a noise trap from a pill bottle and pebbles. Desperate Combat - Detailed combat with moves like "Tackle," "Lure," "Kick While Down," "Demand Surrender," and "Threaten." Realistic Wounds - Monsters have complex wound simulation, with multiple wound places, infection, bleeding, and pain management. Realistic Metabolism - Hypothermia, fatigue, thirst, hunger, illness, intoxication, shelter...everything is tracked. Realistic Inventory - Complex inventory system with slots for holding, wearing, containers, and more. Fit stuff in grid places, and manage encumbrance. Hex-Based Globe Map - Navigate ruins, hills, forests, and plains in a hex-based map. Line-of-sight, elevation, and daylight matters. Tracking - Monsters leave their tracks and spoor on the map, which can be followed by others. Users can also hide their tracks. Hiding - Users can use hiding to avoid being seen while traveling the map, as well as during story encounters. Hunting - Trap little mini game for meal and fur, or track and slay larger prey on the map for butchering. Foraging - Find for edible plants and water, and use unique skills to identify what's secure to eat. Monster AI - Wandering monsters go about their own business, hunting, scavenging, and hoarding. Morale affects their choices, and some will gang-up and cause problem. Dynamic Weather - Temperature, rainfall, and night/day are based on real-world data for autumn in the place. If you live long enough, you may see snow fall. FULL VERSION ADDS: Save System - Save progress between sessions. However, if you die, that's it. NEO Scavenger is balanced around a single difficulty level: permadeath. Save mini games will be deleted if you die. So select every action carefully! Haunting Soundtrack - Melody composed by Josh Culler, specifically for NEO Scavenger, plays periodically, lending an atmosphere of loneliness and desperation. Hacking - Use hacking skills to unblock scavenged laptops, cellphones, smartphones, and tablets. Mine them for paydata, or snoop through private files. Detroit - Take refuge from the wasteland in one of mankind's latest bastions of security. Buy supplies, receive medical care, and seek clues in a cyberpunk-styled city. More stuff, crafting, monsters, encounters, and a larger map.

Kyle Leatz: I own both the PC and Mobile versions of this mini game, and not for one instant do I regret buying it twice. I generally prefer to play it on PC but the mobile experience is well optimized and works far better than it seems like it could. The mini game itself keeps me coming back once more and once more, and I highly suggest it to any fanatic of old-school roguelikes.

Ben Pool: This mini game is ALMOST the excellent survival RPG that I've been wanting to play for a while now. I just lost half the day playing it for the first time and, despite a lot of deaths, I've already bought the full ver because I love the detail that's been place into it. The only trouble I currently have with it is the controls, specifically for navigating the inventory and menus, which is almost the whole mini game. Now to be fair to the mini game, I suspect it was created for tablets rather than phones, though it is still playable on my galaxy S7. Even so, I should see the niggly and sometimes frustrating inventory interactions putting a lot of people off. As a humble developer myself, I'd recommend this be looked at as a priority because it's the largest barrier to getting into the mini game and it's globe. And it is an exciting globe! Discovering bits and pieces of back story as I discover, all the while having to really weigh up my choices for fear of having to begin over if I rush into a situation without being attentive, makes for some unbelievable atmosphere. I can see myself putting a lot of more hours into this. Bravo to the dev for making an uncompromising, deep RPG. I wonder if I can plug a mouse into my smartphone to play this with...

Anyway im using a samsung s3 Mini so the sceen is kinda little to start with.. But bigger ui is always welcome

Pratz: Fun tiny rougelike that was ported from desktop. Controls work as awesome as they can for a mobile mini game but you will search yourself struggling to thumb a little plastic bag into your hand occasionaly. Not a mobile mini game that is simple to control compared to another famous mobile mini games. Death is permanent, if you are scared of this it might not be a mini game for you. You never feel truly secure playing the mini game but after a few runs you start to learn the mini games mechanics to scratch out a longer existence. Neo Scavanger is about survival so upkeep on supplies is crucial. Have fun the brutality of the mini game as you walk miles without shoes with a bullet in your gut.

Tommy Witt: I don't wish to drag the reviews down for the mini game because I know that I have fun it having played the PC ver, but definitely give the gratis ver a awesome try play before buying mobile. Using an LG Stylo 3, it's more than less unplayable. If anything comes up on my screen, like a text, it minimizes the mini game and nothing short of force ending the process and starting it once more will bring it back up. The mini game is still running during this, but tapping the icon will only briefly flash the mini game once more, if that. Would love to have this on mobile, hopefully some patching up makes it cooperate with my smartphone a bit better. EDIT: Second modernize fixed all problems I was having with my device. Good!
