  Adam Frank: EDIT: see their response below. I chalk this up to a combination marketing and translation problems. I actually love the pen and went all in on various notebooks. What I love the most is that you dont even need to buy the notebooks, you can download pdfs and print them right on copier paper and it works! I am still disappointed that the fresh apk does not connect to onenote. There is also not a convenient method to extract the handwriting to text output to another apks, it has to be one page at a time.

  Michael and Sunny Delitala: DO NOT BUY! Once pen opened & used or tried out, you may NOT return at all. There really is not 30 day return policy. Makes no sense when customer needs to test pen in order to decide if will work for customers needs. Pen did not work for me.

  Jeffrey Alston: Forcing players to switch to an apk with less features. Who do they think they are? Google? This apk is worthless compared to their previous one. All the backup and sync capabilities are gone. I'm not sure what the agenda is here, but why are companies these days constantly removing capabilities instead of improving what they have!? It now takes a thousand times longer to share or save to storage or note services. It's infuriating. Such cool tech, such crappy tool.

  A Google user: Really unhappy. will be stuck with unsupported neonotes apk. My Moleskin pen that says "by neo smatpen" Moleskine M+_1 seems to be unsupported in neo studio. And having to use google login is a pain. I liked beeing able to register with whatever email I wanted to!

  Ender Veiga Bueno: So N2 pens are compatible now... unless they happen to be Evernote's Moleskine Pen+, right? At the very least I can't create it work. So I'm stuck on an older, soon-to-be-unsupported application, potentially forever. That's nice. I guess it doesn't create sense to buy any more N notebooks next year then. Seriously, obsoleting older hardware with unnecessary tool updates seems to be a modern plague. I love to test fresh items, but when it will not work the same (if at all) in the near futute...

  Jan Smidek: I've had Neo pen since 2015 and this is a complete garbage. Why would you go backwards and roll out completely deficient tool while discontinuing one that works fairly well? Your response to all the another comments don't seem to grasp the situation - your product is toast if you continue with this and the existing customer base will drag you through the mud in Amazon and Google Play reviews. Seems like a product management suicide.

  Radek Wyrzykowski: Less intuitive than NeoNotes. The find function does not work. Stuff that pick up in find instantly in NeoNotes are not found in the same notebook in NeoStudio. I am talking about even a very easy words like "Michael". I am going to stay with Neo Notes for sure. Much better organized and logical.

But the complete lack of scheduled/automatic back up of your notes makes it categorically worse than the Neo Notes apks in terms of functionality, and bordering on unusable for me. Very disappointing. UPDATE: no method of retaining notebooks when moving to another smartphone? ridiculous.

  Bill Blevins: I have been an avid use of the neo smart pen for over four years. The pen worked seamlessly with the Neo Notes apk, The fresh Neo Studio falls so extremely short of the older apk that words can't describe my frustration. Why would a company roll out an extremely inferior product to replace an existing one is beyond me. It doesn't sync very well, it certainly can't find handwritten notes for a darn. I used to be able to upload a backup copy to Google Drive but that is not an option any more. I know that they are not supporting the older Neo Notes apk anymore but I wonder how necessary that is moving forward and if I can go back to the previous apk as this fresh Neo Studio is garbage compared to its predecessor. I spoke with help and they apologized for all of the missing features and that they take my opinion very seriously, but honestly, who pushes out a clearly inferior product and has the customer in mind when doing so.

  Kevin Mills: I was an avid everyday player of Neo Notes. It transformed my note taking and my office. I was able to use it's functionality and flexibility to receive more organized than ever before. Unfortunately the switch to Neo Studio has changed all of that. One of the best feature of Neo Notes was the ability to sync to OneNote or Evernote. That has been lost, along with some another conveniences. With this significant downgrade, I am on the find for a fresh pen with a better apk to help it. Thank you.

  Jeff Scholes: Looks like the company doesn't really wish me as a customer anymore. All these latest 'upgrades' have effectively turned my Neo N2 into an out of date unsupported product. Off to search a company that values its customer base... Oh, and must block the latest marketing emails from Neo telling me about their recent 'Hot products'.

  Anne D: Worse than the old Neo Notes. I transferred my old notebooks from Google Drive. Tried uploading fresh notes from my pen: apk created a fresh notebook. No method to create them upload to an existing notebook. Tried manually moving the pages between notebooks: the old notebooks weren't accessible for transferring. Had to create a fresh notebook to combine the pages. Tried uploading fresh notes once more: they couldn't be added to the combined notebook. Notes are permanently separated now. No drive backup option.

  tina boettcher: No Evernote sync? Why in the WORLD would you downgrade the functionality of the pens with this apk? Bring Neo Notes help back, please!! Looking at Livescribe and Moleskine pens now. Won't waste any more cash on Neo purchases until the apk is improved. Such a disappointment!!!
