  Ted Rinquest: Really good apk. I resisted switching from print edition but glad I did. Good method to hold updated on whats event in the chess globe. Simple to view/study the mini games and variations. Very well done. I currently have 2 problems on my apk - #8/2013 and #5/2014. There was an problem with the screen width in the #8/2013 problem which cuts off the h-file on all the boards (very annoying) but I cant reproduce it in the #5/2014 problem so maybe it got fixed. I see others mentioning it too, but I don't know what problem they are viewing. Anyway, if that trouble has been fixed for awesome then its a 5 star apk.

  Richard Barski: I really like the magazine and apk you can minimize the screen and then you will receive the mini game viewer board in full ,my question is, can you create an modernize where you can flip the board that would create the apk most complete and useful as I like to have the black pieces on the bottom please do it but I also purchased a subscription because I really like the magazine,thank you if you can do this , Richard Barski

  Gene Milener: Lacks, needs gratis sample. Advert said gratis sample if I install the apk. Then I installed the apk, but found no gratis sample. The apk wanted me to "sign up" and give NIC my email address. Maybe that would resulted in a gratis sample, but nothing said so up front. So I uninstalled apk. BUT the NIC format looks unbelievable, better than another book formats that cannot do columns or tables. ChessBase is what some books use as authoring program, which is strong but also limiting.

  Marius Roets: Rating for the apk, not the magazine It's not awful but it needs work. I like the idea of the mini game viewer, switching between reading and mini games and in-app purchasing of magazines. The mini game viewer is awful though. The text scrolling is broken, the interface clunky, and navigation lacking features. Instead, why not provide a pgn when tapping on mini games, since there are a lot of awesome pgn apks for android device.

  Daniel Farkas: Premature Imo fresh in chess is the best chess magazine in the globe so I was very excited to learn I can read it on my android device device. Sadly I had to explore it is full of annoying problems that are unacceptable in a product you charge cash for. 1. Scrolling is extremely slow in the text of the analysis 2. On multiple lines you can't choose which one to play on the board (unless you tap on it in the text, which is very tedious) 3. Rigid screen, no method to resize or customise mini game viewer. 4. It occasionally crashes
