Thousands of community members are purchasing affordable, farm-fresh, organic and chemical gratis produce through Fresh Roots New Stop Markets. Fresh Roots is a nonprofit meal justice organization. Our vision is that everyone in our community can access the farm-fresh meal we ALL need to be satisfied and healthy. What is unique about New Stop Markets is our income-based sliding scale. Everyone pays according to what they can afford: $6 for families using SNAP Benefits, $12.75 for another families facing limited resources, and either $25 or $43 for all others. This apk will tutorial you through the process of determining where you fall on the sliding scale. Every share (bag) of produce includes 8-9 varieties of farm-fresh, seasonal, organic and chemical-free produce from our local farmers. You can also order pastured-eggs separately. The apk allows you to select your shop place and lets you know the date and time for pick up and/or delivery. We have seven biweekly markets to select from. Each shop pops up biweekly. Over a 22 week growing season, you will keep 11 bags. All you have to do is place in your payment (SNAP Benefits or Credit/Debit) and the system will automatically charge you up front, two weeks in advance of your pickups. You can also access plant-based, healthy recipes and stories from the Fresh Roots blog, as well as keep updates on events including fresh cooking videos, farm tours, and another fun happenings. All bags are pre-packed using secure practices and procedures. Remember, Fresh Roots is a little, grassroots nonprofit organization, we are not a large shop. By signing up for your share, regardless of what you pay, you are helping your neighbors eat well and uniting communities to spread meal justice across the land.
