  Janet Clarke: Fresh modernize doesn't begin. I used to read the N&O (apk) every day. Tried installing a couple of times over the past few days. Apk worked best before they switched to the "Screed" or whatever it's called a couple months ago. Now I can't receive it to work at all. Updated 12/31/17: Apk seems ok now. Just the occasional advertisement overlay that gets in the method.

  Gregory Selix: Good apk for keeping me in the know. It did at one point, test to receive me to pay for it, but then after a few weeks of inactivity, it allow me read articles once more. I just don't think the amount they are trying to charge for a subscription is worth how often I use the service. I do like the alerts though, regarding breaking news.

  Vickie Murphy: "Home News" is appreciated After being an "Air Force brat" my first 9 years, my mom and I returned to her family farm in Greene County when we lost my dad. After high school, I attended NC State and was one of the first 90 coeds EVER to live on campus in Wautaga dorm in 1964. In 1969, I married other State grad and we moved to Houston in the late 70's to be part of the place tool. We've been here ever since. I read the "News & 'Disturber'" every day, just as I did for the 8+ years I lived there.
