  Kim Henderson: Works awesome on Note 3 Works good on Note 3 at SD, HD has slightly slower frame rate. It's an older smartphone, so I'd think that a newt smartphone with a faster processor would perform beget at HD. It does require a 5g wireless connection for connection. If you are getting really choppy video, you probably are on the slower correction or need a faster router.

  Doug dulmage: Was able to receive it to work with my Samsung tab, but not my gs3 cell.. yet. Sure want there was a primary function manual to explain focus and exposure options, unless there's a assist button I'm missing. Capture is too choppy, even though I'm showing 125+ on my router connection. Works ok with vMix 18-19. Please supply a hack sheet, etc! Thanks!

  Joseph Coutcher: Works good...but didn't realize you had to press the record button for it to stream to the NDI receiver. The apk also needs to be more configurable (like being able to adjust output resolution.)

  Lachlan Rayner: Good product and will consider using it in the near future. Would like it to go up to at least 1080p. Also, it was quite choppy when I inspected it on a work network, but I am holding off judgement until I try it on my home network with faster modems/routers. At the moment, until the above two features are improved, it may not be able to be used in my sports livestreams as a camera. But I'm sure it is only a matter of time.

  Richard King: In regards to using Samsung S7 + vMix18 Beta: The NDI apk gets 5 stars for simplicity but as for tweaking it working with it to be part of any usable workflow it needs some time. First off it didn't allow me select any true settings and I couldn't tell if it was trying to use my cell or not since it says my provider (Verizon) with full bars but it was using my wireless connection obviously but seemed method to choppy at 60+megs a sec. Cutting my smartphone to airplane mode actually created the HD better but using use of bandwidth for 720 was not realistic as it was still choppy and would not be used in any production even if it was a fanatic cam. Also there was no lock screen that I should search nor documentation and every time I walked with it the slightest touch would stop the stream or shut the apk down. This was on a dedicated 1Gbit wireless connection that only my smartphone and computer were on. It was pushing 60+ and I receive better quality at 4 with anything else at 720p. I will say NDI is kicking butt and I would say create the dive and receive it because it will only receive better. I will try with a production build and a smartphone and see if its better but 60+!!

  Not being updated to NDI v3.0.is a large trouble for an paid apk. I hope that devs will add some fresh features to it and create it more stable!

  Steve Paine: Interesting apk but wouldn't advise anyone to buy it at the moment as it's not being further developed. (No updates in over a year.) No 1080p (even as a try option) and no access to camera controls. No access to microphone settings (ext mic for example) and no access to stabilisation where supported. I guess Android device is simply to much effort. (Which it is for a lot of developers.)

  Matthew Bigwood: Promoted as turning your smartphone into a production camera but lacks required features like, white balance, shutter speed and focus control. Puts camera in full auto mode witch is never awesome for indoor filming or when working with changing scene lighting. The video delay is also awful, can't use it with my live production. Im getting better quality photo and much less delay from an RTSP apk that was gratis. I really like the NDI protocol and what it offers but want you spent some time on the mobile apk and updated it.
