Simon Chester: NFC Mark apk of choice Tasker's lack of NFC help is no longer a trouble with this dreamy apk. It's a cinch to trigger Tasker Tasks using NFC, and the ability to add cycles to tags is a boon. A bit more documentation on the 'advanced' Tasker action would be nice, though.

This apk lets you automatically adjust your phone settings for wherever you are, whether at your desk, vehicle, or bedside table. Simply put an NFC sticker in the appropriate place, scan it with the back of your smartphone, and tell the apk what settings you want whenever it scans that mark. For example, I placed a mark on the dash of the vehicle that turns on bluetooth, navigation, and vehicle mode. On my front door, it turns off vehicle mode, turns off bluetooth, and turns on Wi-Fi. Other on my bedside table turns off the ringer, and starts my melody user. This apk also works with another apks like Tasker and Launcher, which create the possibilities endless. Its not too far of a stretch to imagine the ability to interface with home automation to unblock the door and turn on the lights! I ordered an assorted mark kit from Tagstand, and i works with all of them. This apk ties together the NFC hardware built into the device to bring the greatest innovation since things like touch screens and mobile hotspots. In fact, I cannot trust it does not come with the device and a few tags right out of the box!
