Offline APN Database is for international travelers who like saving cash on cell voice and data service by using a local SIM card purchased at their destination. The apk includes a locally stored database with over 1300 various APN codes for carriers all over the world. The apk will be updated whenever the list is modified.IMPORTANT NOTE:If you search a SIM that does not have a valid APN in the database please email me the settings displayed on the first screen so we can search the correct settings together. I would like the APN list to be as complete as possible, but I will need assist from everyone. Please check versus the database using the gratis ver first.I wrote this apk for my own travels, so I have a private desire for it to work whenever I happen to be. I don't wish to buy a SIM I can't receive the settings for either.How does this apk save money?Most cell providers charge outrageous fees for international roaming. You can avoid international roaming fees by purchasing a local SIM. In a lot of countries you can receive one for less than $10.In order to do this you need a smartphone that is not carrier locked (this is not the same as rooting). You can receive your phone's unblock code and instructions on how to use it from your carrier. Most of the time you can receive this over the smartphone from your service provider.Using a local SIM will give you a local smartphone number. However, If the purchased SIM card contains data getting an internet connection requires the service providers APN settings. Run the apk and find for your SIM's APN settings. Then you can add these settings automatically, or in the case of Ice Cream Sandwich players copy and paste the individual settings into a fresh APN entry.PROFESSIONAL VERSION:The professional ver displays now contains an option for rooted phones to add settings directly to the database rather then having to copy and paste each setting. This ver displays the SIM smartphone number if accessible, and adds the ability to browse the included APN database by country. This will let people to check on what APN strings are in the system before travelling to a fresh destination.APPLICATION LIMITATIONS:This application will not give your smartphone signal where it normally will not receive it.This apk will NOT UNLOCK YOUR PHONE. Gregory Alfaro: Motorola photon I am currently in Bahrain and required to receive a sim for my Motorola smartphone. After purchasing the added data plan, I was informed that viva did not have APN settings for my smartphone and that the cash I paid for the added data was not refundable. Matt Tabares: Works good I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy the Pro ver, but after the ease of use if the gratis ver I definitely wanted the full ver so I should access all of the APNs before traveling. I have a rooted S3 and added this apk to the system. This allowed me to insert a local SIM card, begin the apk, and write to the APN list on my smartphone. This was especially necessary as the 4.1 & 4.2 ver of Verizon tool did not let you to add APNs. This apk worked correctly for both Germany and Italy.

jason netizen: Like the approach I run android device 4.4, coming from Verizon, so changing APN is not simple to start with. Was able to do it through gratis ver of this apk, so bought it. Write as root didn't work. Switched to GIV Mobile, which isn't in db. Would like to add it myself, but can't. Seems silly that I can't just add it, as db is already in put ... this means I *still* have to enter the settings everytime. I'd like to be able to add, or to receive a refund.

Terry Agorgianitis: Useless & can't email developer Installed this on my Google Nexus 4. I am on ATT pre-paid (GoPhone) plan. First off, the apk recognized my smartphone as running on Ice Cream Sandwich, wrong. I am running the recent rev of Jelly Bean. I used the APN settings listed for an ATT smartphone, only one was listed and I cannot send or keep MMS. Worst off, I would not be writing this review had I been able to email the developer, but when I click on the link, nothing happens. Don't buy this apk, waste of cash. It is nothing more than a list of known APN settings which you can search on your own using a Google find. This apk is BS!

Andrew Lauber: Does not work As of 5-16-15 does not work with i535 even with pro. Move it to system, says it added apn list, but nothing is there. I'm running 4.4.2 could allow you have a clean build for apns not listed and still be able to add apns
