  StillFocusedMan: All you have to do is reserve a static IP on your router for your onkyo receiver and it will not lose connection with the apk. Static IP is the reply to your connection issues.

I've got an NR509 with an modernize downloaded yesterday and this apk is (apart from the obvious battery drain) good! UPDATE: Now it does Spotify! This is good. Just need to figure out how to scrobble the tracks I listen to using it.

  James H: I use this to control my Onkyo HT-RC360 Receiver and as a premium, my Sony Blu-Ray user too through the receiver. Works better than expected and allows beautiful decent control of most functions.The only thing that doesn't seem to work sometimes is power on. This is a fault of the receiver and not the apk as I have the USB dongle wireless connection add-on for my receiver and sometimes the wireless connection is lost when powered off. As long as Receiver is on or in standby, all feature of the apk work.

  Victor Weinrich: I was about to give the apk 4 stars, owing to the clumsy volume slider control, but Michael Bishop's review enlightened me to the use of the mobile's volume buttons to incrementally control volume. Now, we can just leave the TV off during our extended listening/reading sessions. Having the Details button detailed info on the tool material is a good assist, too. DLNA operation is working very well for me on my TX-NR717 with streaming from my Synology 111 server.

  Steve Prinsen: Love this apk and use it ALL the time but since modernize to 1.5 (which fixed the screen positioning, yay!) it will no longer play melody stored on my Razr Maxx. Hope that will be fixed soon! Then it will be 5 stars with a ! Modernize: hmm, now it's working once more despite not doing any modernize. Weird but good!
