  Gary Bruce: Just downloaded this apk latest night so I haven't had much time to evaluate it, but so far I like what I see. I test to hold accurate records in my database, which contains manufacturing year and it will be nice to be able to access that info without carrying my ebook around with me. I have found a couple discrepancies so far when comparing dates with my atlas by a few years. I want it had more current info regarding newer pianos, i.e. Hallet Davis. I receive a "manufactured after 1959" with newer serial #s. I suppose it's impossible to hold up with everything accurately so I'll still use Pierce's Piano Atlas to cross reference, but this will be a nice addition to customer service. And it's FREE.   Nathan Mills: This apk is a very helpful program and well worth the $4.99 yearly subscription. The tech help is willing and ready to assist if you have any issues. They contine adding fresh serial numbers for pianos as well as jobs and similar piano industry news.

  Carolyn Ritter: I really love the concept but the execution is wonky sometimes- there are brands I feel I can believe the apk with, but it's not the majority. Have to rely on the Pierce atlas. For example, it'll tell you the biggest number-only serial on a Samick is from 1988 (real) and that it's 114390 (false- missing the latest zero.) So if you have a pre-1988 Samick, it can't give you an accurate year. Want it were more accurate!!

  Rev Louie Louie: This used to be a good apk. And not just because it was gratis. But with this latest modernize, which is promoted as being gratis, the apk will not even load correctly unless you pay the $4.99 subscription fee. I don't care whether they are blaming the Play shop for this confusion. Yes, it says gratis with in-app purchases, but the only in-app purchase is for the apk itself. It is bait and switch strategies. I think the asking price for a yearly subscription for their service is actually quite reasonable. My complaint is that it's advertised as gratis but won't run unless you pay. Somehow they have a various definition of gratis than the rest of us. PLUS, the way of payment mentioned in the promo copy is "Payment will be charged to iTunes Acc". I don't have an iTunes acc. And even if I did, I am acquiring this through the Google Android device Play shop. NOT iTunes. Franz Liszt Piano Center has a potentially good product here if they should only receive their promotion and billing act together. For the time being, I don't believe them. Fortunately I still carry the recent copy of the Pierce Atlas in my vehicle.

Allulli: if you pay, it works well and is reliable. $5 is quite reasonable, but you cannot use the apk unless you pay, and they would rather grab that every year from you via subscription instead of letting us buy the apk. They achieve this by having all data be located on a server off-device. no internet=not usable. This is not awesome. I do not help the subscription fee practice. Place the data in the apk and charge for the apk. Modernize it once a year. not hard. it's all gratis in a Google find anyway.
