  Atin Woodsman: Limited options, very disappointed considering it's ooma branding. No dedicated cloud button, to easily all motion triggered video. In fact, I'm not even sure the entire motion video is even recorded at all. The motion video for some odd reason opens in the bottom feed, and not the top video user. Ooma should learn alot from Yi in the apk department. This apk needs some major updates and hopefully ooma delivers, as it's one of my favorite brands. Also why is the apk always asking to enable Bluetooth and GPS all the time? Is that really important?

  Gear Obsession: Only one person can sign on making it useless for a family. Also, I had to restart one of my Cams when it locked up via a hole in the back when a pin. This restart button was not in the documentation. Also there is no ability to mask an place of the camera view to prevent false detection like another systems accessible from another companies.

  Stephen Cross: I've had my Ooma Butterfleye cam for a few days, initial impression is the camera and picture quality is very awesome, but the apk and cloud service needs improvement. - 1) Happening feed is very slow to refresh every time the apk is opened, would be better if the happening feed was sync'd in background. - 2) Recordings begin about 5 seconds after the initial movement and are limited to 10 seconds duration. - 3) The live feed can take a looong time to begin and has about a 8 to10 second viewing delay. The live feed actually seems to begin quicker in the Ooma Home Safety apk. - 4) The player manual indicates there could be a "Local Network Streaming" option, but the option is not listed in the settings. - 5) Motion notifications can be delayed - I've had a couple arrive 10 to 15 mins after the happening. - 6) No notification if the device goes offline/disconnects from cloud. I've had a few wireless connection disconnects as reported by my Fing box, and cases where the camera is offline even though wireless connection and internet connection are fine, but the apk only indicated the camera is offline after trying to view the live feed.

  A Google user: I've had this less than 30 days and the cameras have gone off line twice. After a couple of weeks of working ok, you can't log in with the same password that worked the night before. The only notice is "Error with Login" Calling help, they were very friendly, bu are limited with what can be done. Only resolution is to "change the password". So you go through that drama (passwords must be at least 8 heroes and include a unique character)....and you receive a "Restart password failed, please check your internet connection" When I called help to receive this working, I was greeted to search that 2 of the 3 cameras went off line and had to be manually restarted. Not too simple to do when you aren't at home to reset them.

  Toni Warden: Should only connect via WiFi, cloud view using 4g on smartphone always times out. Couldn't figure out how to add people & pets. I probably would have with a tiny research, but the camera was a disappointment, see below, so I didn't test all that hard. Camera has no night vision (all you see is black) - the deciding factor in uninstalling & selling cam. 3-5 second delay watching live video on my 185mbps wireless connection connection. Two-way talk was also clunky & delayed.

  Curt Granger: Better than the Ooma Home Safety apk - able to connect most of the time. The Butterfleye camera itself is nice but severely limited by coonectivity options. The apk is the only method to access. Would be good if they allowed IP access like most manufacturers. It's obvious they wish you to sign up for one of paid subscription plans. Type of a bummer you have to in order to use all the features like facial recognition. Really need to be able to access thru the Ooma web portal! That seems obvious.

  A Google user: Bought two cameras, and so far, this apk will not link to either of my Galaxy S6's. The phones instantly recognize the cameras, but the apk does not link, sticks in "attempting to link" mode. Needs work.

  Ron Hen: I have 3 various Wi-Fi safety cameras. Although this one has some awesome features it is by far the worst one. On 3/4 trips in the past 6 months it has failed for one reason or other and there were are also issues with setup. Help is awful. I strongly suggest you look at another products

  RDS Sutherland: The algorithms need a lot of improvement to be useful. It only records when something triggers it, and it misses beautiful much everything. I bought it for use with Airbnb rentals to provide safety without being invasive, but most of the time it fails to record even a single notification of any type when guests visit my home. Ironically, the only person it seems to record is me. The idea is awesome, but the implementation is awful. Also, it has no night vision, and only streams video over WiFi.

  Aleksandar Zivkovic: I have cameras from another manufacturers and only this one gives me issues like connecting to the live feed and camera periodically goes offline and you need to go and manually reset it. The apk also has problems. When I choose Camera Info, I don't see all the options for the settings - they are slash off on Samsung Galaxy S8. The apk will log you off from time to time and you need to login once more.

  LaToya Rooker: Apk won't go beyond the 'add camera' step. After pairing my smartphone and the apk, it doesn't recognize the connection and keeps taking me to the 'connect a camera' instruction screen instead of starting to record, happenings, etc.. ***This app/camera is effectively useless***
