  A Google user: I use Ooma home safety at a few rural places where response from law enforcement is slow. If an abnormal condition is detected the apk sends notifications to my smartphone so I can call a neighbor and have them check it out rather than waiting for law enforcement. Only problem I have had is my wifi/router loses its connection with the home safety service occasionally-not an Ooma similar trouble.

  Heather Yeaman: Love the innovations and fresh sensors and features that are being added. I'd appreciate no extra monthly costs but understand to a degree. Just remember the cost of a traditional safety system when increasing prices . The attractiveness of the system has much to do with the low cost. I dont mind paying for the sensors, where with a lot of traditional safety companies, the sensors are included .

  Doug Petry: Works good, we use water sensors, door sensor and motion sensor. The only problem is that I have had to restart it a couple of times when it stopped working. I hooked it up to a wireless connection controlled plug so I can restart the power remotely with my smartphone. Now I have no worries if it happens once more.
