  Jay: The Orbit home apk works awesome with my two old yet working phones: Iphone 5 and Android device 9 smartphone. The best thing that i like is the Garage door opener has built in wireless connection connection and the apk is gratis to download. It is necessary to download the firmware using a 2.5 gigahertz bandwidth wireless connection Once updated - will work as intended. A lot of reviews here are mostly negative and i think they could seek some assistance from Skylink group - as i did before with my problematic motorhead. It has been 6 months now and a few occasions of minus 20's temperatures and still working ok. I have 6 more months left in my warranty and i can say that i created the right choice. Apk is plain and easy yet effective when it comes to it's purpose: shows the notifications when the garage door is opened/closed and can be opened remotely - love it! .

  Jamie Camirand: Works well 95% of the time. Sometimes when I begin or close the door it shows opening or closing for a long period of time even though the door is fully closed or opened. Once I go back a screen seems to restart it and it shows the correct door status. Mentions you can connect to Alexa or Google however haven't been able to regardless of all the troubleshooting articles I've read. Might be a Canadian limitation.

  Mike Lenox: Required to use IOS because Android device only provided a numeric keyboard for ID# entry. Also, the light indicator just stays highlighted as its on. You can press the left light button but there is no true indicator of on or off. PS: Customer service did say to add Microsoft keyboard apk so I should enter data but I have no room for more apks. Tha apk also lacks any type of instruction such as the light indicators - no details on what is what?

  Sythe Muscat Mutterings: It was straight forward and easy to register and connect this to my garage door opener. The apk is primary but works exactly as I need it to, and it linked right away to Google Assistant and has worked perfectly for a month so far. Didn't give it 5 stars as the apk is very primary (begin, close, turn light on, off) - it'd be nice to be able to schedule some actions or control more functions on the opener (like AWAY, Autoclose, etc).

  Zach Hammett: Wanted to use google home to begin and close the garage door. Purchased this kit. Installed the garage door myself. Downloaded the apk and set everything up. The apk notifies me when i begin and close my garage door, but i am unable to do anything inside the apk. Cant begin and close my garage door from the apk or see any info in the apk. All i see is a refresh logo. Have tried 4 various phones and only one should use it properly.

  Ken Cyr: This is a awful apk. It takes forever to log in. Then makes you log in a second time even though it remembers your password then hangs up and doesn't connect to the garage door opener. Notifications work ok so I know it is communicating. Useless. I give credit a help worker has since worked very hard to receive it working for me. I changed my view of customer help. It still doesn't work but they really tried. Thank you.

  Jose Barriga: It just works sone times as the garage door disconnects every 2 days or so from wireless connection and it gets only fixed after I unplug and plug once more the garage opener. Also, the garage begin notification happens only some times and garage closed seems to work always. Beautiful awful application or wireless connection functionality on the garage opener. I want i had done more research on it before buying. Regret buying this atoms garage opener

  Khalil N: very primary, slow and needs a lots of improvements. Here are some examples: 1. My sensor was not working. I was able to begin the door but not closing it. 2. No manual, assist or "how to do" in the apk. Allow say how to restart the hub or sensor... 3. I was waiting to have some primary options like a timer to present how long the door is begin or an auto closing option.

What is frustrating is the time it takes to connect to your garage door. I have powerful signal and quick wireless connection so why does it take so long to connect?
