While the apk isn't excellent on older devices it runs ok on my smartphone and brings a level of convinience not found with the paper kind.

Edward Ricketts: This is generally a awesome apk - I would suggest a bonus subscription, but even without it's awesome. It deserves more than 3.2* Positives - beautiful interface, everything works well, and a good routes feature. Negatives - occasional crashing when going "back" and can't zoom out far enough on Landranger maps (on OnePlus 3t). I think for an apk which should save someone's life I beg that OS invests more.

Jacob Farrimond: Good apk to have when walking for gps places, especially in fog or cloud. It does stop working well when tracking a route for greater than 15 miles.

A Google User: Fab to have OS maps on my smartphone & pc I am a heavy fanatic of OS maps and can't imagine a trip outdoors without one. I am really satisfied with having access to online / offline maps on pc and mobile but don't understand why my acc doesn't sinc between pc and mobile - e.g. if I make a route on pc, I would like to be able to view / follow this on my mobile too and vice versa. I also learned the hard method that if you log out of the apk on your mobile, it will delete all your saved routes, why? Look forward to some fixes and fresh features soon.

OS maps This apk brings the Ordinance Survey maps, direct to your smartphone. The best feature for me is the place button; no more having to orientate really big paper maps to establish "where I am!" This is definitely my favourite smartphone apk.
