"Painting has never been so simple, the ink engine is unbelievable, lines are looking smooth, the feeling is amazing" This is a Drawing application that allow you sketch and paint with water colors, feather, pencil, brushes... The engine is Really Quick ! There is No delay between the touch and the following line. The engine is customizable, you have all the control over the drawing line, which means : Size, Opacity, Smoothing and Thickness Factor. A selection of 6 drawing programs allow you do just what you want. Drawing, painting, coloring, sketching, writing, all these are possible with Paperless. You can save your works and classify them in ebooks and pages with a super easy drag/drop & add/remove navigation. New layers feature is now set. 3 layers are accessible and ready to use. Toggle visibility and adjust Layer Opacity. It's preserve the transparency on each layer. You can zoom in & out and drag with two fingers to navigate inside your drawing. With the brush programs you can paint by using easy brush, blurry brush or even watercolor. You can adjust the size, the opacity, the thickness according to the speed and even the smoothness of the curve. The ink pen let you to hand write, take notes, with a smooth ink design. Fill an place with the chosen color in one touch with the paint bucket. The undo and redo allow you go back and forth in the history of your action. You can go back up to 15 steps in the history. Select your color according to the hue/saturation/brightness, a history of the latest 6 colors can be picked and a nice selection of brightness variances is accessible. The color picker allow you pick any color on the screen. You can save your drawing into the gallery as a image. You can also import picture from your image gallery such as your image or a drawing that you saved earlier. You can share your works on Fb. A selection of backgrounds/textures is available. WARNING : You could not work with USB storage connected, because it blocks the save from the application, this may effect in a loss of your drawing ! I used almost every ios drawing apk and downloaded most of the Android device ones but nothing comes close to this! Well done guys. Hold improving. It adds specs to the drawing when you zoom in and out. Can this be fixed. Thanks -- Edit originally reviewed 2012 - now in 2016 still the best drawing apk going. Not improved much since early days so revamp is welcome.

However, with well designed drawing apks like Paperless, Android device is starting to present promise. I have the Note 10.1 and it needs to have awesome apks like this to be a success. I have a recommendation for layers that maybe create the order movable.

  • A Google User: Good drawing apk Good drawing apk another reviewers created me think this apk wouldnt work, but i tried it on 2 diffrent tablets and all works ok , naming ebooks, saving pics, and even the speed of the programs is ok, it even has draw thickness similar to drawingspeed, a must have to be able to place some feeling into your drawings, i missed in a lot of another drawing apks. Well done to the dev. Modernize namingbbooks doesn't work after reset my fresh ebook was given the default name too. Probably simple to fix just check were the name str

The inking itself is good and quick. Adding more layers, crop, etc would really give it the edge and some more options to edit, therwise 5 stars in performance hold up the updates!

Before i found Drawing on smartphone i used sketchbook mobile for my job in animation and concept art but i was always turned off by its sluggish performance and awkward player interface. Drawing on smartphone is a good improvement over SBM in almost every method! It quick! simple to understand and very visually beautiful. Simply it just makes you wish to draw your next masterpiece! i completely love it. Saying that i think the only improvements that could be created are - -The ability to delete and add layers -An increase to the layers that can be used i would say that 5 layers to work on would be excellent! -The ability to manipulate the drawing/painting on a layer. For example crop, move, shrink The addition of these features would completely trump any drawing application accessible to android device! AMAZING! hold up the good work.

Additionally, if I import a picture to colour, it seems to always crop out a chunk on one side of the photo. Like, no matter how much ide crop it myself. Leaving my drawings chopped in half.

I was very excited to see that I should finally use this very nice painting application on my phone, an HTC Rezound running ICS 4.0.3. It had previously just been for Android device tablets. But I'm satisfied to say that it works very well on my smartphone. I give it 4 stars because I trust that the apk still desperately needs the option of allowing the player to set the canvas size and resolution. The low resolution causes artifacts. Most serious painting apks let HD canvas sizes, i.e. 2048x1536 and above.

  • A Google User: Not awful Closest thing to iOS's Paper. Would like to see better resolution on strokes. They're very segmented. And I guess you're coming from iOS but here in android device land the back button is type of a large deal. It could back you out a step in the UI, but your apk just exits when you press back. At the very least catch this and throw up a dialog. I'm constantly exciting your apk for no reason.

  • A Google User: Awesome painting engine but needs a few bug fixes The brush and pencil programs don't change colors when using the eyedropper program. A few painting programs have seams within the stroke when set to less than 100% opacity. Pinch to zoom causes accidental brush strokes. Needs a easy round brush that maintains constant opacity within each stroke, related to Photoshop. I really like this apk but I can't use it regularly until the eyedropper and pinch to zoom problems are resolved.

Player friendly interface but not missing the quality that you wish. I hope that you can fix the zoom part since it causes some unwanted and stray lines. I like the idea on how i can create it like a creative diary of my daily ventures. All in all it's a awesome buy.

  • A Google User: Awful Exports This apk has a lot of awesome traits: it has a easy interface, awesome programs, and a good method to organize drawings. But the pictures it exports are TERRIBLE! I can not stress enough how necessary it is to be able to move pictures over to my SD card. Yet even the screenshot my Galaxy takes has a higher resolution than the pictures this apk sends to my camera. This apk is overall good, but don't expect to present anyone else your art.
