Partometer3D is camera apk for place, perimeter, length and distance, height and width, ratio, circle parameters (radius, diameter), angles measurements. It can be used as a camera ruler or tape measure for accurate measurements on pictures and images. This apk allows player to create measurements in any defined direction and plane in 3D place. The distances and object size can also be measured by Partometer Apk, but Partometer3D has no constrains on the camera position relative to the measured object. The measurement plane / object plane don't have to be parallel to the camera plane. It expands number of situations where application can be used. For example, large objects now can be measured by taking a picture from the side, objects and distances that are difficult to reach can be measured as well. Partometer3D has the same application place as Partometer, but gives you more flexibility and power. Angle Mode / Protractor / Goniometer can be used for roof angle measurements. This data can be used in SolarMeter apk for solar energy calculations. It has following necessary and distinctive features: - measure in any chosen plane in 3D place - Length, Angle, Place, Circle Modes - add/delete any number of measurement/ruler lines - values assigned to each ruler line - measure objects in various directions - save and share you measurement - search object ratios, if you do not need absolute measurements - compare object parts to each another - use custom and predefined reference objects - automatic reference object ok alignment using photo processing - restart reference object alignment by LONG TOUCH on auto alignment button Partometer3D uses a phone/tablet camera and any accessible object with known size as a reference to perform measurement. To define the measurement plane a rectangular object (sheet of paper, credit card, custom object) is used. Photo processing is used for automatic ok alignment with the reference object. The Apk shows measurement results in various troops: meters, millimeters, centimeters, feet, inches based on player settings. It also calculate dimensions of the object in relative troops with respect to the reference object (ROL). There is an option to create a picture and work with the still photo instead of live camera view. Picture Load feature is also implemented to work with any picture from your image gallery. Zoom View feature helps to align object boundaries accurately. Partomter3D can be very useful if you need to measure bigger distances on the plane, where the easy ruler or tape is difficult to apply. All you need to do in this case is to put a rectangular object (credit card or sheet of paper) on the measurement plane, create sure that the object of interest fits into the camera view and create measurements. Jack Garrison: Still not satisfied with instructions. Please write them for dummies to understand. That said. Take very awesome pictures (receive an apk to improve picture quality) use as really big a reference rectangle as you can and the apk works. I will use the apk to receive measurments from inside and outside of buildings for making bids for work to do. I recomend -- purchase the apk -- then use your head. You will be satisfied. Sorry about the first review.

Peter Lee: This is a truly good product in that it takes perspective into acc when measuring distances and angles. But its not truly 3D capable because objects that are not within the extension of your reference plane (i.e., credit cards) cannot accurately be measured with this. For example, test measuring angle of upper corner of a ebook that is placed in vertically upright position on your reference plane. This tool will overestimate the angle because it assumes the angle is on the reference plane. Be aware!

Nicholas Harbour: Apk works but doesn't have a vast library of reference objects and requires you to set a frame of points over the object to receive reference size. Also doesn't detect dimensions automatically. Could save dimensions of objects in the apk for later use.

Mike P.: Read the description carefully-- this apk does not work quite the method it is marketed This apk DOES NOT let you to measure in 3 dimensions. It is only a 2d measuring apk. You lay down a known size reference object (a credit card or a piece of notebook paper for example) and and in your image you use that to define the reference plane. You can then measure any 2 dimensional object in that plane only. After playing with the apk, I understand why this limitation exists, but it could be created more clear before people buy. Some another problems... There is NO documentation-- the video here is it. Watch it before you buy. At least on my smartphone (an Lg G3), the UI is laggy and nearly unusable.. Even when it works, the UI is non-intuitive.

BH: A reasonably accurate apk nearly crippled by some of the worst documentation ever written. The best first step to learning this apk is to eliminate the Reference Object Line feature--go right to Preferences and drop it, it's clutter that serves no essential function--and to *fix* your reference object rectangle in put (long press the "W/H" place in the lower left side of the screen) or you run the risk of DESTROYING the measuring grid by inadvertently moving the corners of your reference plane when you begin moving rulers around. And create sure the object that you're measuring is confined *exactly* in the measuring plane or the accuracy will drop dramatically. The limits inherent in this kind of measuring system become apparent fairly soon, but still reasonably accurate, so 3 stars, 4 stars when those terrible player tutorial pages are rewritten.
