What is it? This apk is a viewer for passes - a pass should be a e.g. boarding-pass for your next flight, a coupon for a nice hot beverage on the destination, a film ticket, a membership card - there are a lot of possibilities. Basically it is a replacement for a piece of paper or plastic you would normally have to carry with you - so lets save some trees and reduce waste! Also this apk is Free-Software - Gratis not only as in "Gratis Beer" - but more as in Richard Stallmans Concept of Gratis and Begin Tool for a better World. How does it work? There are so called espass or pkpass files - you can begin them with this apk - e.g. when you keep them via email or receive an Download-option. The most necessary content is the BarCode ( QR , AZTEC & PDF417which authorizes you most of the time - but it also has another interesting content like a description - often a time ( that you now can add to your calendar ) - often also places ( to give you directions ) - just test It out! The apk is offline usable once you downloaded the pass! History I stumbled upon Passbook files when i received my ticket for the 29c3 - I liked the Idea - but there was no Android device Apk which was working for me. Method nice I tried other apk but you had to download one ticket each time to present it. Non-convenient. PassAndroid stores them so you just begin the apk and voila, you're off to the present.

Thomas Lomsdal: Modernize or smartphone reset fixed the trouble I'm guessing I'm missing something really obvious, but I can't begin the files. I've tried live files and the demo files. Swiping sends it to a fresh category. Tapping does nothing. keep click only tells me to swipe. I can begin place or the calendar. but I wish to begin the barcode. Even your Well written Faq doesn't have any details on this. Please assist a dummy out. EDIT: After modernize I can begin my tickets. thanks for the answer will use your apk on my method home.
