Wayne Chin: I've been using Pathaway since my Treo days, and it's still the only apk that lets me upload my own maps. The interface is quite clunky, but more usable on my larger Galaxy S4 screen than my old Palm and Nokia screens. I hold tapping the wrong buttons even though I've been using its a lot of iterations for over 7 years. The Windows map editor has changed tiny since 2007 but still gets the job done.

Dave S: This apk has potential, but the demo is so neutered that you can't try it's features without paying. I'd be satisfied to pay $35 for a awesome navigation apk, but I'm not going to pay to search out if it's any awesome. The design is awkward and overall poorly fitted to mobile use, which is unfortunate in a mobile platform. All the key functions I'm looking for seem to be listed, but route planning was clunky on a 5.5" screen. Needs integration with computer for planning, map loading and editing. It might be worth the investment, but it simply feels to amateurish at first look to warrant the risk.

A Google user: Just blah... if it wasn't for that trouble with loosing license when flashing your smartphone or when replacing it under warranty (happened few times to me) maybe I would buy the full ver ,but when you can't save maps for offline use (gratis ver) this apk is useless. Gmaps are actually better in that regard. hear that GREADY MUSKOKATECH INC.?

Kirk Hanson: First off, this apk won't import KML or KMZ files, which then requires the player to convert them files to GPX files, a time consuming and unnecessary step. Although the apk has gazillions of features, I don't really need 75% of them, so it becomes a cluttered and difficult apk to learn how to use. Assist manuals are vague, and I've yet to keep a answer from the developers on their forum. Would like my cash back.

A Google user: Have been a long time player of Pathaway, starting method back in the Palm days and through a few windows mobile versions. But this Android device ver is a severe setback, with missing functionality compared to the WM versions and very unstable - especially with auto choosing and auto zooming of maps not working properly - if at all. I more or less bought this ver with my previous experience with the tool in mind, but now feel it has been cash wasted. Time to begin looking for a replacement :)
