WARNING: This apk will not work "out of the box". It requires knowledge of WOL, Telnet and SSH to create it work and will also require some configuration on the computer you wish to use it with. If you don't know what WOL, telnet or SSH is or understand why you might wish to use these technologies over another methods of doing this the apk is probably not for you. To try your PC setup, connect and problem the command you wish the apk to send via a telnet client or command prompt from other device first. You can also use the apks debug mode to troubleshoot. If you contact me I will test and assist you as much as I can. “PC Begin Shutdown and More” is an Android device application designed primarily to switch your PC on and off from within your local LAN/network. It works with Windows, Linux and a lot of more devices. It can also be used for a vast dozens of another remote functions including restarting your PC, running a script or copying some files– in fact beautiful much anything that can be done from the command prompt can be done via this apk. It provides the player with a fast to use interface to control up to twenty five various PC’s. Its simple to use and easy to setup. There is also a Lite ver you can download for gratis to test before you buy. How it works… Send commands to your PC from the apk by customising the apk settings which can contain everything from the name of the button to the command you are sending. Switch on debug mode to see the output from the remote server - good for troubleshooting. Examples might contain... 1. Send a WOL packet to switch your PC on. 2. Send a command to shut down or reset your PC. 3. Send a command to reset your router. 4. Run a script on your PC. 5. Begin or stop a service. Use windows Telnet (built into windows) or install a SSH server for added safety and encryption when connecting and sending commands. The apk has been inspected and is known to work with FreeSSHd SSH server and MobaSSH server but could work with a lot of others.

James Blazicevich: Good apk! When configured correctly (address range for wake on lan, not specific IP) it works good. This perfectly fits my use case for booting up and shutting down my VR PC without using the projector. Very much worth the little price. Have contacted the developer about a feature request, hopefully they answer soon.

Mario Avila: Apk works as intended. Dev help is exceptional. Turning on your PC /outside/ the LAN is a whole various challenge outside the scope of this apk, but is totally possible.

Scott P: Works perfectly Setting up ssh is easy enough in Windows 10 (Google it!) and wol works well (remember to use your broadcast ip address and enable wol on your bios and in your network card properties) At latest I have a remote slay switch for my Son's PC 😊 I would love it if you should add a widget!

A Google user: Excellent apk, works excellent, purchased, use with quite a few machines for on/off activities. The only thing that potentially didn't work was sending telnet shutdown commands to a win7 box with UAC enabled/in default state. I am not 100% as I run with UAC off and haven't re-tested for a year or so, but if you folks have any problems sending commands using telnet, test with UAC off. Awesome work dev.

A Google user: Once SSH is configured on the PC it is easy to setup. Like a lot of another players I cannot receive WOL to work, despite it working from a windows utility. I use this to shutdown or reestart a few PCs without having to break begin my laptop. Works well for that. EDIT: Unlike another WOL utilities I've used the IP specified for the PC must be the network broadcast address and not the specific PCs IP, so like like X.X.X.255. The assist file mentions this although it's simple to miss.

A Google user: This is one of my most favourite apks. Using now for more than year. Wol does not work for me for some reason so I use other WOL apks. Shutdown, reset, other cmd comands I use every day to control my home pc's and media servers. I even set it up to send cmd commands to my onvif cameras and NVR via ftp. Can you advertisement more buttons under one device? If not, anyway this is good job. Also rearrange the devices would be convenient.
