About the application:

**Please note that this apk DOES NOT make heroes, it imports .xml files generated by PCGen. Character Lab players look at my another apps* It is unfair to leave a 1 star review complaining it doesn't make a hero when it is highlighted in the description! Help shape v2.0 @ https://github.com/dysfunctional-apps/character-sheet-importer ---PCGen Hero Sheet Lite offers the same experience for gratis with adverts--- PCGen Hero Sheet allows you to import .xml files generated by PCGen to make dynamic hero sheets for use on your Android device device. If you wish a hero sheet apk for your device but don't wish to enter all the info manually onto your device, PCGen can do all the hard work of creating your hero for you, and then just use email or Dropbox to import it into the Apk and create your hero sheet mobile. When you wish to level up, just modernize your hero on PCGen, email/Dropbox it to yourself and re-import! Features include: *Custom Dice rollers *Stat Linking - allows adjustments to statistics to filter through to another places of the sheet such as Skills and Attacks *Multiple hero sheets, easily managed through tabs *Keep track of spell casting, health, subdual hurt etc... *Campaign notes *Interactive help *Critical Focus (Pathfinder) Things to note: *Read the assist screen on first load - it answers most questions! *All code used to create the hero sheets look familiar to PCGen players, is my own. *CMB - the apk detects whether your imported CMB Stat value is the same as your STR or DEX modifier, to determine which stat could affect it through Stat Linking (due to certain feats, whether you hero size is Little etc...) *Conditional Save and Combat modifiers don't appear to actually be exported in the .xml, which is why the boxes will be empty, the boxes are show however to balance out the look and feel of the hero sheet, and in preparation in case the info is exported in the future (though an apk modernize would be needed to read it). *Stat Linking does not affect hurt done by bows, as the .xml does not identify Composite bows, if the name and description is custom and did not use the word "Composite" the apk would have no method of knowing so this was omitted. *There is no ammo tracking as the .xml does not provide enough info to efficiently do this. *If you have you imported a problematic .xml file and the apk crashes everytime it loads, use the apk settings in android device to clear data associated with the app. *Use the csheet_fantasy_generic_export.xml template to make your .xml file, all .xml files need to have the word PCGEN somewhere in the file name (upper/lower/mixed case is ok), and the extension must remain .xml, the apk will test to read the files from default Downloads directory of your device, which is where email apks such as GMail could save files to by default. If you have any issues with an .xml file or if you think something is wrong with how things are done, feel gratis to email me at [email protected] (preferably with the .xml file). Pathfinder® and associated marks and logos are trademarks of Paizo Publishing, LLC® and info can be found in the "About" tab within the apk.

Replaced the import dialog with the device&#39;s native Document Picker.<br><br>This is due to an issue with Dropbox Chooser which was returning DIRECT_LINK instead of FILE_CONTENT.<br><br>Some users may experience an app crash on first load of the Document Picker due to legacy code issues, but subsequent attempts should be successful.

While there's still some functionality I'd like to see added such as automatic spell hurt calculation, overall this is an good apk that makes keeping track of your heroes a breeze. I ran a trial with this as DM in a high-level mini game and loved how simple it was to calculate iterative attacks and HP modifiers, as well as switching from between multiple heroes during a war. So whether playing as a DM or user, this program is unbelievable.

  • A Google User: So awesome I bought it! Tried the gratis ver and liked it enough to buy. This is an perfect PCGen apk! I've used this for both playing and DMing, and I can happily say it works wonderfully for both. For a user: Simple and familiar layout, with all the info you need quickly to hand. Weapon rolls, spell tracking, stat modifying and skill checks are all really simple to use. Can also track your HP (lethal and non-lethal) which is incredibly handy. Saves me scribbling out all over a hero sheet all the time! Makes looking up feats and abilities much easier than leafing through a lot of sheets of paper to search the one thing you're looking for. For a DM: Having all my users' sheets begin at once makes combat MUCH quicker, as I have all their AC's and saves readily to hand, as well as being able to roll certain skill checks for them etc.

  • John Price: I love this product and can not wait to see the V2. This apk proved over my latest 18 hours of gaming to assist simplify all my attacks. I just want that there was a tab added on here that should auto apply buffs or another effects. Would come in handy because you can not actually change your hurt output only your attack its self.

I only want there was a method to advance heroes from this apk, but then once more that would require access to all the data sets, which of course would take up WAY to much place. Another than that, I don't have to bring anything to mini game another than my smartphone, and maybe an extension cord! (For when sessions run long.) I hope the makers hold supporting this apk, and maybe make related apk for DMs to run combat? I know there are others out there for that purpose, but This apk is laid out so intelligently, and is so intuitive, I can only imagine that a DM apk in the same style would work far better. Hold up the awesome work!

  • A Google User: Good apk! I had used the d20 Hero Sheet apk in the past, but the moment I inspected out this I couldn't go back. The interface looks so much cleaner. It's simple to navigate around, and being able to switch through multiple hero sheets without any problem has been surprisingly useful. What's more is Disfunctional Apks' quickness in fixing what bugs may come up on importing. Definitely worth a purchase.

  • A Google User: Powerful companion apk for pcgen This is a solid compliment to the pcgen tool. It gives fast access to the necessary hero info that are required during a play session. I would like to see more cloud storage services integrated, and the existing notes system from pcgen rather than a separate one. I would love to see this become a creation program rather than just a viewer, but I do not know if that is practical.

  • A Google User: Unbelievable for Viewing, cannot modernize PC This apk is good as long as you do not need to modernize or add anything to the PC during a session. My husband loves the dice rolling feature, until he rolls a few critical fails on fear or spell resistance during a session, then he breaks out his dice. Only request, add something to place in notes that will save to PCGEN for the PC and/or equipment.

  • peter west: The apk works more or less as described. It's not super player friendly but not too hard to receive working if you have a tiny knowledge. I would definitely pay a bit more if it allow you apply conditions on the fly. That's the main thing missing compared to using herolab for me.

I second the request for arrow counters and such. Also it is slightly annoying that it forces you to view in landscape mode, but nothing unbearable

  • A Google User: Awesome apk, GREAT potential I have seen a lot of apks for heroes on android device products. They usually need you to input the details into the device and the math is wonky. This apk imports from a proven (gratis) product and still lets you apply buffs and conditions. It's beautiful much an begin beta ver right now, but the bugs are being smoothed out quickly.

  • Tony Cotterill: I like this apk. I should be a good apk, but I think I ran into a bug on my Samsung Galaxy smartphone - Android device ver 4.2.2. I imported a hero which works ok until I access his spell sheet, then it crashes and won't reset. Uninstall and reinstall is the only option. The hero has no spells per se, but has a few spell-likes from stuff. If anyone knows why this is event, I'd be glad to know. Without this trouble I'd give it 5 stars.

  • A Google User: Sounded Awesome But Have Problems I like a lot of the features, but as a mage I am having problems with this apk. I can't add spells to my memory and when I cast it doesn't remove it from my prepared spells list. Plus it doesn't know the dice for my spells so it always shows 1d3 and then I have to set the dice myself. I should live with t his but the spellbound management is a deal breaker for me.

  • Dennis Lagoni Holk: First of.. Why is it so closely connected to Dropbox?? The apk located a local file, but won't load it.. That is ridicules.. Second, why can't you edit some things?? The only method to advance to a fresh level, is to begin PCGen up on a PC, and enter the fresh statistics. Export the hero. Upload file to Dropbox. Import the fresh file. Delete the old record... :-(
