  SmashThemPotatos: I've been using PCM in one form or other since 2004. Every ver lives up to my expectations. I've used this apk to record on the go podcast, my own melody, class lectures, memos, etc... Very straight forward and simple to use. When I copy files from other smartphone I just put them in the PCM folder and they present up in the apk no trouble. All recordings are visible in my regular melody apk and another editing apks on my smartphone. Excellent for any audio recordings. I suggest raising the hz all the method for the cleanest sound. Hold in mind the quality is only as awesome as the mic you use, if you don't like the sound from the mic on your smartphone test using an external one I've noticed a globe of difference. Paid ver should be worth it, the only benefit I would gain is cloud storage (via google drive if you use it) and advertisement gratis but the advertisements in the gratis one are not intrusive and don't pop up that often.
