A Google user: While most people seem to be have problem opening up their problems, I have hardly had any problem with the apk at all, and the ui for reading is good. The integrated videos and articles are simple and easy to access, and those create the apk better than the print edition for me.

William Ofori: The recent problem of the PC Globe contains instructions on how to activate the digital print of the magazine. Very attractive format. Awesome job.

Timothy Kemperle: Not sure of all the awful comments. I was very concerned downloading the Apk latest week for the first time which was the second digital problem. After finding my subscription and downloading the first two problems I can say that the digital subscription on the Nexus 7 is good. I did need to reboot the Apk a couple of times but really no problems. Only item I can't receive to work is bookmarking a page for future reference.

Peter de Bretteville: Works ok on Nexus 7! Simple to set up using subscription info.

Byron Halbower: So excited to receive a digital copy of the magazine. It took a tiny bit of time to figure out how to setup the apk because the instructions on the splash screen to begin the menu are very little and simple to overlook. You need to tap the splash screen to access the top menu, add your acc, and add stuff to your library. After I setup the apk, the magazine looked good. Would have given the apk 5 stars if it wasn't for the problem I had with the setup.

John G.: I installed after reading the negative comments, and the apk works good for me on my Xoom smartphone. It looks and works good in my five mins of testing. I doubt that I'll miss the hard copy at all.

Kevin Reid Sr.: Login took some figuring out. Once I did, I saw the downloadable library. Once this month's problem finished downloading, only a few pages were accessible. Missing blocks of pages or entire pages. Looks like a solid begin, though. (Updated) After archiving and redownloading this month's magazine, the magazine loaded in its entirety. I also left the screen on and kept the apk running through the whole download. Either downloading twice or keeping the screen on and apk running fixed the problem.

Carolyn Ashcraft: While I prefer the print ver of the magazine, it's good to have a digital edition on my Nexus 7. Once I signed-in to my acc and accessed My Library, I had the current and two back problems of PC Globe waiting to be downloaded. However, I do accept that the sign-in process is NOT very intuitive and the GUI should use a bit of work.

Robert Mike: On Nook HD, after a few tries, I uninstalled the apk, refreshed the device and re-installed the apk. On my Nook HD, the "More" button in the instruction is three dots in a vertical arrangement, upper right corner. Tapping on this opened my menu with the acc management item. Logged in, the magazine downloaded to my Nook HD and all articles are there. Used the Nook HD Scrapbook function to save an article. Everything seems to be OK now.

Jim Roscovius: Apk works just ok. I can browse and read PC Globe on my Android device smartphone. Haven't yet tried on my Surface or Windows smartphone. Pictures look good! My only trouble is that I want every magazine would use Kindle so I wouldn't have to think about which apk to use to read a magazine. Kindle has apks for everything, so use it.

Baltazar Murillo III: After seeing the abysmal score I considered not installing it...but as of now I'm glad I did. I was able to install the apk, connect my acc, download magazines (albeit rather slowly), and review content without too much problem. About the only thing I would change about this apk is the performance; downloading, loading, and viewing aren't quite seamless (Nexus 7 2nd gen).

Adam Stern: I have to admit I was hesitant after seeing the negative ratings but the apk works ok and PC Globe is good. It is the most interactive digital magazine I have seen. From clickable links, videos, and cool animations it is a must.

Brandon Giesel: Please add an option on the menu bar to make a bookmark when reading a magazine. The existing method to bookmark is not simple or intuitive and I have found it is hit or miss on whether it wants to work right. My another feature request is a library wide bookmark viewer. I personally have fun saving articles in past problems for future reference. I trust it would be good to be able see the bookmarks you've created on your whole PC Globe magazine library and be able to receive to an article with a easy tap.

A Google user: Unlike a lot of of the another Reviews shown here, I had no trouble installing the apk, logging in and downloading the digital magazines. Unfortunately, this is the only awesome thing I can say about the apk. I have fun reading eBooks on my Nexus 7. I like the idea of a digital magazine as this will reduce paper consumption and waste. Unfortunately the implementation of digital magazines has a major flaw in that publishers test too hard to create the digital magazine resemble a paper magazine. I did a side-by-side comparison of the paper magazine with the digital magazine of PCWorld. At first I thought some articles were missing from the digital ver, then discovered that sometimes I required to swipe down to advance and another times I required to swipe right-to-left to advance. On some articles, if I swiped over the TEXT, it would advance to the next article. However, if I swiped over the PICTURE, it would present other picture in the same article. There was no indication on the screen of this various behavior depending on where my finger was when I swiped. Without this side-by-side comparison, I would have missed some articles in the digital ver. On page 3 of the digital magazine, there is a HELP page on using the digital ver. The instructions on this page are confusing on how to make a bookmark. It took me about 15 mins to realize the instructions on this HELP page were wrong on how to make a bookmark. There is no SEARCH option on the apk. There is no method to find within a magazine or across multiple magazines in my Library. I have a Nexus 7. The font used on the apk is little and hard to read. There is no option to change the font size or to zoom in. The discontinuing of the paper magazine could have been delayed until this apk was more player friendly. I have no plans to renew my subscription to the digital ver when my subscription expires.

Reggie Black: Did not do anything various, everything works. It must have taken some time to sync with the pcmag acc.

Richard Campanile: I am using this apk on the Lenovo 10 smartphone and it will only begin in portrait mode. This defeats the good kickstand on the Lenovo 10 that allows you to read in landscape mode on your desk. Now I must keep the smartphone on end just to read the articles. It would be nice if the developers would let a choice of reading modes. Otherwise a beautiful awesome apk.

A Google user: Latest week, May 9th, I received the June 2013 paper magazine...on my Motorola Xoom smartphone I only have the May edition. Why doesn't the digital edition become accessible at the same time when the print ver is sent out to subscribers?
User rated this game 3/5 on 2013-05-14
A Google user: I expected more from PC Globe. Installed but am unable to access the library. Back to the paper ver! Modernize: Tried the Apk once more today. Logged in and was able to download the May and June problems. Why it works today is a puzzle. Will modernize once more after I use it for a while.

Sam Dean: I downloaded the apk and using it on the fresh Nexus 7 (2013 edition) smartphone, and it works perfectly ok. Modernize 1/7/15: I changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars after experiencing a lot of issues

Elizabeth Hooper: The content is ok when it actually loads. Brand fresh smartphone, good data plan, and yet it takes like 5 mins to load the magazine. It'd be nicer if I should just download the articles directly to my smartphone instead of having to view them in a very slow apk.

sharon watson: Needs work seems 2 kick me out and stop working after a few pages
User rated this game 3/5 on 2013-07-17
Andy Millard: Installed and working correctly on Nexus 7. However my rating is reduced by 1 star because of the annoying and unnecessary animation and sound effects. For example on the title page of the June article about safety exploits. There appears to be no option to disable sound effects. To add compound the awful impression the animation/sounds are repeated every time one re-visits that title page.

A Google user: To those having issues with the fresh apk, I have discovered that the old one doesn't modernize and can't begin the September problem. I have a Galaxy Tab A. Delete the apk, and go to the Play Shop to re-install. You will receive the fresh apk which works as they said it would. For a company dealing with IT matters, they stink at it. I have had problem with the apk since day one of the digital only publication and far too a lot of emails to customer service. I don't care about gaming, so I share the feelings of others that the publication has less interesting, but it still has value to me.

Paul Lucas: I like the magazine experience so I chose the enhanced format edition, 242MB really? WAAAAY to large to hold problems around. Not very a lot of problems apply to me any more, still run XP on all my PCs. My Android device smartphone and smartphone are now my primaries even though the experts say you can't, I have found there is nothing I can do on my PC that I can't do on my Acer A500 smartphone. You just have to place in a tiny time.

Dennis Harb: Worked ok till marshmello make batter. Now it downloads 90% of magazine and receive mib decompression failed. The apk worked with 5.1.1 but not 6.0. Other said he had problems with a mini game magazine and pcworld digital magazine with 6.0 He contacted the mini game magazine and they fixed the apk to work with 6.0. He contacted pcworld and has heard nothing. It also works ok with my iPad mini. Just the nexus seven (2) I'm having issues

Kinman Cheng: I rarely write review on apks, but I feel I have to write this one, as I rarely see such poorly created apk The apk gave me a black screen a few times, and stuck on importing once. And when I press the back U arrow button, it jump right back to the android device screen. I think it is more like a crash. while I do like the embedded video feature (the only reason I give 2 stars), a plain replica of the hard copy in pdf is MUCH easier to read using whatever book reader you like and no, I don't think you will have much luck over zinio, also got a beautiful awful review

Ramakrishna Ram: Crashes often. The kind is too little and difficult to read. I am a subscriber and I am stuck with this not ready for prime time product. Bring back my paper ver.

Brandy Watford: This apk is horrible. Does not load

Jim Isbell: I installed this apk about a year ago, but was unable to receive it to work. Then it disappeared from the shop, only to reappear recently, even though it claims the same ver number. Very strange history, this apk has. So I've been using the Zinio apk instead. Once I found out this apk was accessible once more, I decided to give it other go. The instructions at startup said to touch the "More" button at the top right, but such a button doesn't exist. I finally found the "Acc" login by pressing my tablet's "Menu" button (my smartphone is a Samsung 10.1 inch Galaxy Tab 3 running Android device 4.2.2). Once logged in, I can download any problem. The problem reads only in portrait mode, however, which type of sucks since my smartphone cover only tilts up the device in landscape mode. At least the font is a awesome size for simple reading. When flipping pages, you must sometimes swipe sideways, and sometimes upward. Swipe sideways at the wrong time and you'll skip the rest of the article. This design is quite odd and takes some getting used to. The Zinio apk, even though it doesn't have the "enhanced versions" of the magazine, doesn't impose these same caveats.

Neil Perks: From your site subscription page I select "Subscribe Google Play" button at the bottom the page. This takes me to the Google Play, PC Globe subscription page where it says "Item not accessible". Any recommendations ?

carrollandmary barnes: Does not go to the menu to allow you see most current issue...stuck on old problem
User rated this game 2/5 on 2017-08-06
Anthony Brittis: If you can receive the problem to download it isn't a awful method to read the magazine. Downloads are slow and fail most of the time. I've been a print subscriber for over 6 years and always found PC Globe very informative and enjoyable to read. Sadly I can no longer reliably access my subscription. If this isn't fixed soon I will have to cancel.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2013-11-14
Wayne Leong: PC Globe, you need to immediately fix this apk so that we can access our acc. Latest problem I was able to access/download was August. If the intent is not to shut down PCW, you're nevertheless driving away loyal subscribers.
