They consistently modernize and develop the apk and it always meets my needs wrt managing my pool. I like the freeze safety mode that automatically checks conditions and turns on the pumps. I also like the timer and schedule functions. Overall it meets my needs and appears to be getting better over time.

It's only been a month, but you can at the touch of a few keys can turn the system on and off, create pump speed changes, create pump operation schedule changes, and see the pool water temperature.   Mark Funderburk: UPDATE: Pentair quickly responded and resolved the following problem. Changed rating based on services. The apk modernize on 12/11/23 for Pentair Home v 4.1.3 has deminished my experience. Lost the ability to control light selections for pool. Lights are static on the latest color selection prior to apk modernize. The overall dashboard remains relatively unchanged.

  Joseph Li: 20230818 tks for Pentair's fast answer. The fresh apk does have multi dashboards. I can see the devices now. -----old------- After some back and forth with the help and together with their recent apk modernize. I finally got the system up and able to view and controll different equipment connected intelliConnect. It would have been a whole lot easier if they allow player know their apk has trouble so we simply wait instead of lining up for the long and frustrated wait for the smartphone tech help.

  David Hicks: Recent modernize 4.0.12 has issues. Home screen (dashboard) shows that pump is running when it's not. Even if you disable pump it still shows it's running. Notification screen just shows spinning icon, no actual notifications are able to be seen. Previous to this modernize everything was working properly. Modernize: Pentair reached out to me immediately and, after a short bit of problem shooting, the trouble got resolved. Am updating review back to 5 stars. Thank you Pentair squad, job well done.

  Devin Manno: Not sure what the negative reviews are about. This apk is 100x better than the old Link2o apk. It loads data from my Pentair devices really quick. The Link2o apk spun for a few seconds every time I tapped anything which was unbearable. The Pentair Home apk is a large improvement! It works with my Intelliconnect, IC40 saltwater generator, VST pump and Pentair lights. It has the air temperature too, though I am unsure where those details is coming from since I do not have an air temperature sensor.

  Jonathan Calloway: The apk works as advertised with my Color Sync Controller. The online instructions were straight forward. Took less than 3 mins to sync and pair the apk to my device. Inspected comms distance between smartphone and device (2.4ghz wireless connection). Highly suggest for those who dont have fun manual operations.

  Adam Key: This apk with ChemCheck is good. I can easily check to create sure my spa water is awesome before I wish to use it. And it sends me notifications when my chlorine levels have dropped too low.

  John Kwan: Apk doesn't display current temperature of water so don't know how warm pool is and don't know what to set freeze safety temperature to. It does let you to set trigger temperature for freeze safety but that's a guess because it doesn't allow you know the current temperature so you can't calibrate its sensor versus a known trusted temperature source.

  dale mongeau: Non-responsive to heater, was working ok before latest modernize. Someone came out to flash/image the heater, now it doesn't work at all. Have tried to re-install heater in apk a lot of times, no joy. Have to use heater manually now. Edit: After some work and troubleshooting (changing modes off and on, toggling pool/spa, heat/cool/auto etc) Still couldn't receive the unit to turn off an on, yet it would communicate temperature just ok. I finally killed the power to the breaker and rebooted. Works now.

  Randy: Apk crashes frequently. Design seems unnecessarily clunky as you have to go into each individual equipment tab in order to have access to the power controls. Also, the application will sign you out often, for no particular reason. Giving 3 stars because when it does work it is an simple method to control your pool equipment. However it can definitely use some improvements. Modernize - fresh apk ver does seem to work better, controls have been improved and the apk no longer signs me out randomly.
