  This is my 3rd review in two weeks, based on growing experience with the apk. The awesome news is that the aids stay paired with my LG Nexus 5X smartphone now, even after removing the aid batteries. Nice! I'm not sure why they are working better, but it's my belief that I stood a better than average possibility of success because I bought a "clean" Google Android device smartphone (currently running Android device 8.0.0) without the typical cell smartphone OEM's Android device meddling. Pure Google Android device works good with this Phonak apk! By extrapolation, I would expect this apk to work well with the fresh Google Pixel phones. For this reason I give the apk a full 5 stars.

  Tony Maples: Have had hearing aids and apk for a month. Paired with my Galaxy S8 in doctor's office and stays connected with no issues. Can reboot smartphone, change batteries, etc.. and they automatically reconnect as soon as I place them on. I leave bluetooth on all the time. My only want is that when receiving a call it would play through both hearing aids instead of one.

  Mike Howe: As a Google Pixel XL player, I’m relatively happy with the performance with this apk. It does however fail to connect sometimes requiring a reboot of my smartphone. I do think it would be good to be able to log hearing aid stats and performance and even let those statistics to be send as a log file to Phonak and the players hearing aid professional. Battery level indicators would also be a good bit of player feedback. An option to switch between automatic and manual TV connector modes would be so helpful (rather than having to visit the players hearing aid professional).

  Bill Calligan: The tool needs more work. The Bluetooth on the smartphone connects immediately to the aids. The apk connects intermittently with the right or left Phonak Aid. It is like flipping a coin to see if it is going to connect.

  Johnna Williams: This apk does not work with Motorola Androids. My doctor tried to do everything she should to receive the apk to pair with my hearing aids, but then was finally told that it does not work with Motorola Android device phones.

  Michael Eisner: This apk only controls volume. Why won't the apk present life of battery, environment statistics and another info. I am a fresh hearing aide player and I wish to know how effective the aides work in various environments more often than between visits with my audiologist.   Richard: Won't load on Lenovo K5 a 2017 generation smartphone. Can't search aids on a Motorola G 2nd generation with Android device 6 Can change tool and volumes on Moto G4 Plus but can not keep a call. Acoustic smartphone tool does not work.

  D LS: Bluetooth pairing doesn't always work and have to restart apk and Bluetooth. Also melody option doesn't present up in apk as it does in Google play shop example. Only thing that shows and works is volume control.

  Jarrod D'Eredita: I have only had this ear piece and Apk for a day. And I see why there are so a lot of negative comments. This apk is only for about 5 mins after you receive it paired, if you can manage to actually pair the apk to your aid. It takes forever. If works at at all. The only thing I receive is volume control nothing like the pictures in the description. Looking through the the comments I can see the developer doesn't care as they so not answer to anything, not even the awesome comments.

  Hilary Brown: Absolute rubbish. Works ok initially, and then after about an hour, refuses to pair and have to re pair the devices. So it worked at the audiologists, but not now. When it does work, it only shows the split and volume, so completely pointless apk. Also can't receive the TV connector to work, so that's useless as well. Sort it out phonak.
