About the application:

**A MIDI device is needed for this application. A player must have a piano keyboard that supports MIDI plugged into their smartphone to be able to use this application** What is MIDI? Many modern electronic piano/keyboard pianos have MIDI output, where pressing and releasing keys sends a digital signal. This digital signal is able to distinguish which key was pressed. This is much more accurate than using audio to determine the pitch of a note that was pressed. How to use this app? With a MIDI device plugged in, a player chooses a difficulty. After a difficulty has been chosen, a note will pop up on the smartphone. The player will then have to press the correct note on their keyboard. If they are incorrect, it will allow the player know if they were too high or too low. Once a player gets it correct, a fresh note will appear.
