About the application:

Pianonino was developed as a piano mini game for children. With Pianonino, melody notation is just reinvented and simplified, in such a method that playing and reading melody becomes so simple, that even a 5 year old should easily do it. Thing is, the melody theory has evolved for a lot of years and it created possible recording and passing melody down throughout generations. As easy as introductory melody theory may seem for melody literates, getting grasp of concepts like: notes, pitch, class, tone, semitone, can be done in a more pleasant and fun method. Children love when they learn complicated concepts in a playful manner. Let’s replace odd looking, unintuitive signs with funny icons. You can have a notation like: Do(Doll) – Re(Record) – Mi(Mitten) – Fa(fan) – Sol(Sun) – La(Lamp) – Si(Seed) or like: C(Cat) – D(Dog) – E(Ear) – F(frog) – G(Guitar) – A(Alarm) – B(Bat). Customize notes by any rule you want, not only phonetic or alphabetic. This mini game has no adds and was built with "education" in mind.
