PicaSim is a flight simulator for radio controlled aircraft. You can use it to learn how to fly, to practise aerobatics, or just to have fun flying around on a rainy day. This is the full ver - so if you've tried the gratis ver (which includes most of what's here) and you have fun it enough that you would like to help its past or future development (or just say thanks!), buy this to create a contribution. If it helps, this contains some extras that aren't in the gratis ver of the simulator: - A dozens of races - F3F-style and cross-country (the gratis ver has just one race). - Limbo (slope and powered) and thermal duration challenges. - Planes: Two discus launched gliders (including the Ypsi Notos), GeeBee R2, Tigger (2.9m F3F slope racer), ASW15, "The Plank", magpie, and an electric ver of the Neoslope. Also a quadcopter/drone and a very fast/aerobatic control-line plane, the Peacemaker. - Terrains: Panoramic ver of the "Mountains Dynamic Soaring" stage, plus a "Snowy Hills" stage (3D and panoramic) and two more panoramic scenes (flat field and slope). Over time it will acquire extra planes/terrains. There's now a forum for posting bugs, recommendations and general discussion at http://picasim.freeforums.org The complete list of planes included is: Gliders/sailplanes: ASW15, Banana, Canard, Discus, trainer, Neoslope, Genie, Icarus (DLG), Jart, Kato, Le Fish (standard & ultralight), Magpie, Notos (DLG), Phase 6, Plank (wing), Tigger (F3F), Trapeze, Weasel. Electric gliders: Neoslope, trainer Powered R/C planes: AcroBat, Additional (3D, normal and really big size), F18, GeeBee R2, RT Eraser Five, High-wing trainer, twin-propeller delta. Control-line: Additional, Peacemaker. Other: Wasp (quadcopter), Moyes XS 142 (hang glider). If your device is Android device 3 or above and supports USB OTG, you can probably use an external USB gamepad or joystick, or even your R/C Transmitter (via an interface), using a USB OTG cable/adapter (very cheap). Its definitely worth trying. Create sure you connect the controller before running PicaSim, and then set it up in the settings->joystick menu. It needs the "Smartphone calls" permission for Marmalade - and to handle interruption by incoming calls properly. PicaSim does not access any private data on the device.

Christus Nikitas: This apk is so well done. From the physics to the adjustability it's just excellent. Enjoyed it so much I created an RC glider and chase seagulls around on the dunes by my house. This created the transition to rc flight so easy and painless and it's a blast to play when the winds are crap out here. I've used just about every flight sim out there and this is the first one to even come close to the sensation of actually flying. If you don't love this apk flying probably just isn't for you.

riparato: Ive loved the gratis ver to death. And now I've learnt to use it I'm purchasing the full ver. This is a seriously good slope glider sim. I've just this morning learnt how to dynamic soar with the sailplane, and whizzing around the hills at 357mph never gets tired. Physics are good, and as I can't receive to my local slope too often, this really is a good replacement. Slopers you will love this. Congrats on a super apk rowlhouse!

Dog Biscuit: The best phone based RC plane sim I've ever used. Had the gratis one and thought this was definitely worth £2.50. Good physics and responses, good planes all with various heroes. Love it. And I build and fly true RC planes. Not quite the same as sticks on a transmitter but that's to be expected.
