Picture renamer and organizer for pictures Featured by XDA-Developers: "Automatically rename and organize your images with Picture Manager" Some manufactures save pictures taken with the camera with an incremented number in the filename, instead with a timestamp like another manufactures do. When you factory restart your device, buy a fresh device or clean flash a custom rom, the camera picture counter gets restart and starts with e.g. IMAG_00001 again. This can be an problem once you backup your files to a harddrive on your PC. Because you will have duplicate filenames, but the pictures are actually different. Picture Manager solves this trouble by renaming your taken pictures with a timestamp format you can choose or even define yourself. Picture Manager is also capable of organizing your taken pictures into folders that are named by the year, month day and even location. That will assist you to quickly search your pictures again. The renaming and organizing can be done in a batch process, but can also be done instantly, immediately after you have taken the picture with a background service. A Google User: This works without needing root access :D This cleans up your image collection in no time flat. I opted for the optional bonus addon to automate the process in the background with custom format settings. This makes it a set it and forget it :p I have used Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC devices using the same SD card. It was able to organize images from multiple cameras. Highly suggested!

Jake Crippin: Perfect Renaming Program! I use this to rename my DJI drone files. DJI simply names pics and videos as DJI_001,002, etc. This apk is the excellent, simple method to rename these files with the correct made date (like it could be). Awesome work!

Adam Barcroft: I use a number of devices to take pictures and all of them have their own naming format. I've been looking for an apk that demands all of my files to the same format for a long time. Also, when I contacted the developer for assist, he told me it couldn't currently do it but would attempt to add the feature. He got back to me within a day with the fresh feature added. Unbelievable program and customer care. I would suggest this program to anyone.
