Pixel Soldiers: Bull Run is a tactical turn based tactic mini game where you will command either the Union or Confederate armies during the first year of the American Civil Fight in 1861. You will storm the mountain passes of West Virginia, create amphibious assaults along the Potomac River and war pitched wars across a 19th century North America. Simple to play and difficult to master, Pixel Soldiers is a mini game for wargamers and casual gamers alike. This mini game is set almost 50 years in the future from the previous Pixel Soldiers mini game (Pixel Soldiers: Waterloo). BATTLES Pixel Soldiers: Bull Run contains Union and Confederate campaigns, with historical scenarios leading up to the War of First Manassas (Bull Run) in the east, and Wilson's Creek in the west... *Philippi *Rich Mountain *Mathias Point *Blackburn's Ford *Matthews Hill *Henry Hill *Wilson's Creek *A bunch of another maps to play in sandbox mode FEATURES: *Command your armies with ease. *Difficult to master in-depth strategy. *Play versus an clever AI enemy or other user on the same device. *Morale system: Troops that take casualties may go into disorder or break and run depending on their morale. *Many various types of troops and weapons, complete with individual uniforms. *Command gunboats and troop ships along the Potomac River. STRATEGY AND TACTICS: Use the terrain to your advantage: Hold vulnerable troops behind ridges or hide them in the trees. Protect vital mountain passes and river crossings. Use your artillery for long range fire help or risk placing them near the opponent to use murderous canister shot. Pixel Soldiers Bull Run now has rifled and smoothbore cannon. Place your cavalry on the flanks or hold them in reserve for a devastating counter attack. Use your different Infantry troops well. Skirmishers are awesome at delaying and disrupting opponent attacks or guarding the flanks. Use riflemen to give accurate fire help, whereas those armed with smoothbore muskets are best suited for close range gritty fighting. Will you push your army forward and seize the initiative? Or will you set up a defensive line, await reinforcements and allow the opponent come to you? These and a lot of more questions you will need to ask yourself. There are a lot of methods to victory the game. HOW TO PLAY Tap to choose a unit. Tap once more to move or attack! Long press on a unit or tap a unit's description to see more information Pinch zoom in and out of the war to receive a better view. Long press anywhere to check line of sight. Nathanael Brinson: I love the mini game a lot, and thank you for adding Wilson's Creek, I live in that place and I am really grateful you have added that war. Sadly not a lot of people know about it. Anyway, I would like to see maybe a custom map where one can create the terrain for a war, along with objectives and troop placement. That would be nice, but thank you once more for a good mini game.
