Play with numbers and learn mathematics together with Alfie Atkins! Kids love learning fresh things through play. This apk, Play 123, Alfie Atkins, stimulates children’s learning skills by clearly connecting the function and purpose of numbers and easy mathematical symbols in an experimental, playful way. In his kitchen, Alfie has a recipe ebook with all kinds of good recipes that he loves cooking for himself, his family and mates. By tracing and writing the numbers on the screen, kids will learn the appearance and sound of each number and train their motor skills and muscle memory. Using these numbers and easy mathematics kids will then be able to cook dishes in the mini game that can be decorated with spices and another extras, which spawns creativity and results in a lot of laughters as the dishes are served to Alfie and his family and mates. Fresh decorations and recipes are unlocked as kids progress in the mini game which motivates long-lived video test and enables continuous learning in a fun and pedagogic environment. The apk has been developed and inspected in collaboration with teachers and students in schools in Finland and Sweden, the pedagogic parts have been developed together with researchers at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Helsinki. The apk has been developed based on children's needs and does not feature points, time limits or another elements that should lead to failure or stress. Kids will play and learn using the apk on their own terms and at their own pace, in preschool, at school or at home.
