  Terry Yau: This review is written in conjunction with the Omni SB1+/Plus Soundbar and subwoofer system. (With MCU at 207.168) The Polk Omni apk works well in my experience, as long as the wireless connection infrastructure (i.e. wireless connection router, signal strength / stability) is solid. I personally have had no streaming problem over wireless connection (from Android device smartphone to the SB1+ over wireless connection), whether it's local melody files from the smartphone, or from Spotify. No audio drop out over multiple hours of audio playback. Recommendation / Feature Reqest: I would like to have the ability to change the order of the Melody Services icons.

  Gj Bivens: Modernize: 2/6/17. Added SB1 plus system with 2 S2's for 5.1 surround sound, it sounds good! No issues with drop outs I have 7 of these products connected to a Belkin ac750. Set the DHCP server to forever and I have been streaming FLAC and ALAC melody files from my Plex Media server to a A1 amp to Deftech turret speakers. I would say this is truly a modern age speaker system.

If you have two of the S2s like I do you can even set them up as a real stereo pair and listen to your stereo melody the method it was meant to be listened to. Major step up from bluetooth speakers for those who actually care about the quality of the melody.

  Torqd Off: At first I had problem setting up my Omni S2R speakers. Took me time to figure out that you have to remove the bluetooth adapter first. They can't do both at once. After I removed them, set up was simple. I've got groups and stereo pairs set up. I have a few various Bluetooth Speakers, Amazon Tap, Link 20's, Pulse 3, Charge 3's, Flip 4's, Anker Soundcore Boost, Altec Lansing StreamX, and I have to say, Polk is right in there with them. They're all so close... I want Polk had Google melody as an option. I have both, Amazon and Google, but I like Google player experience better. YouTube would be nice option, also. Anyway, once I got them up and running right, groups is a nice sound with three of them running. Oh yeah, want that they had some kind of memory that my device isn't dedicated to their use. Maybe a firmware modernize for Alexa? Google Assistant???

  Tony Svoboda: I was satisfied with this apk prior to the modernize on Aug 31 - then, just like everyone else, none of my equipment will pair leaving it useless and silent. Since Polk's tech help is only begin 10-5 EST I tried to fix this trouble on my own first. I tried hard resetting each play fi speaker, power cycling my router, uninstalling the apk, deleting the apk from my google acc, etc, etc. and nothing worked. That all changed today when I called Polk. The man at the another end of the smartphone was polite, and in less than 5 mins everything was back working. He acknowledged that the Polk apk has a flaw in it that is not allowing the apk to pair with their play fi devices. He directed me to the "DTS Play-Fi" apk, telling me it is the parent apk of the Polk Omni ver. The two look and behave identically - so trouble solved!

  Barry Page: Took me ages to receive the setup done initially. The tip to move close to the wireless connection router inexplicably worked, though I wasn't far away (20ft) in the first put. The apk works OK if a bit unintuitive in its navigation. The melody sources selection is OK but doesn't help Google Play Melody. Instead I use a Chromecast Audio hooked to the back of the Omni S6 which works a treat. If you wish to use the Spotify Connect feature you need to be a Spotify Bonus subscriber (fair enough)

  Jose Santos: It jitters once in a while...It's not the best, yet it is fine (hence the 3 stars). I bet if youtube was included in the apk, without any flaws, they would receive a higher rating. They also need to provide another melody services, but we all know that the greedy businessman will never work with others to make a good product and service. So in the meantime its an fine apk. Nothing unique. The only businesses that will survive in the future will be the ones who provide a qualitative product and service.

  Christopher Elbich: I would rate this a 5 if it added help for Bandcamp and a find function for my private media collection. Otherwise it's a ok system with a well supported apk. Often systems like these drop their apk help and you're left with awesome hardware and obsolete tool. Polk stays on top of it and the apk evolves with the times.

  Matt Campbell: I think this apk has potential but it needs a number of problems and limitations resolved before it's ready for prime time. The hardware sounds good but the apk kills the experience for me. It is buggy, slow, frequently losses connectivity from the speakers and is lacking a few key features that I desire. it feels like a beta ver to me still.
