  Kathrin Riemer: I am doing pottery and just finished my Diploma in Ceramics. I test out a lot of various things and often should not remember afterwards how i have done it, what glaze used, how much clay and so on. I asked my hubby if he can develop me a mobile visual diary. So he did and it is a good helper to me. I can also quickly share my entries with others per mail or post the picture on fb or ig. Thanks to hubby for developing it. Good apk! Cant wait for the kiln apk.

  Pat H: Pottery Logbook is well organized and seems to have all the info I would write in my journal. I accept it would be nice to have more than one picture but I usually only do one sketch in my ebook. Now it will always be handy on my smartphone. Want I should link with my smartphone too. Look forward to more updates and kiln log. My another pottery mates like the idea too.06/29/15 Thanks for the multiple pics. I haven't tried linking to Drop box. Would be good to sync multiple devices but not sure how hard that would be.

  Sim B: Thank God, been waiting a long time for this, thank you. Yet being greedy, next want is the ability to add (or just link) video. I oft record video when trying fresh decorating techniques, as it captures brush strokes, viscosity etc etc and also allows for narration of verbal notes - very valuable! This apk is still easily worth the little expense so far even without the above. Hmm... printing and/or export function also be handy. Hold up this unbelievable work :)

  Darrell Melton: This apk provides a potter a means to track projects an can give students the ability to track pottery treatments so that they don't have to remember what they did to achieve a specific result. This is particularly necessary for glazes. Players can upload a back-up of the entries into drop box so the info will not be lost. I am not sure how to download the details back into the apk. What I have tried does not seem to work. A assist utility might be useful. I am unsure if dimensions are in metric or inches.

  Jess Barnes: I'm a beginner potter and this apk has been unbelievable for keeping track of which glazes I've used and which worked well / not so well. The only downside is not being able to delete or re-order pictures of each project. I usually take a pic of a project before it gets fired so I remember what it looks like, then I add a pic of the finished piece. It would be good to then be able to create that the first or only picture. Thanks for a very useful apk!

  Linda Gambrell: The details is good. It's simple to use, but the backup isn't working and I don't wish to place a lot of time into something I can't transfer. It says, "This application cannot link fresh players. It is frozen pending review" which is worrying. Modernize 8/2 the back up function is working now. I've already found other solution that works better for me, but this apk is very straight forward and simple to use. For easy record keeping I think most potters who are not techie will love the simplicity.

  Nancy Curren: I like this apk very much. It is conveniently loaded on my android device smartphone which is good to take to the studio with me, but at home I would like to see it on a larger screen. I have a standard PC, but I would really like to see it on my IPad. Any possibility I will ever be able to do that? Also, I have not figured out how to take multiple pictures yet. Is that because I have an older ver?

  Shannon McDermott: Very nice design for the tool but I am having difficulty with multiple images of the same project. Taking a fresh image overwrites my latest image. It shows arrows as though I could be able to scroll thru but it doesn't change the image.

  Robert Jones: Recently downloaded this logbook as a previous apk deleted all my work and like that this has a back up option. Entries can be quite detailed with clay kind, size, weight, firing and glaze sections as well as being able to add a lot of images of each piece and adding notes to each image. Sometimes the download load will fail and it can take a few attempts but does receive there in the end.

  Chris Amar: Nice apk for tracking Pottery work. My problem as a dumb American is the need to convert to metric for measurements. I suppose it would do me awesome to think in metric troops, but still painful. Any possibility of a setting option to default to our US customary unit standard? And Stefan, can you tell me where Pottery Logbook stores the pictures one takes with the apk?

  A Google user: Good simple to use apk for keeping track of your pottery and glazing. Begin the apk, hit the + sign, take a image, fill in the recommended notes - title, description, glazes, clay body, firing process & temp and more. It even backs up to drop box (though I haven't tried that yet). It also allows you to pull an photo from your "documents" - which for me is the camera shots I've taken before on my cell or smartphone. But I want is would sync over two devices - so I should see it on my smartphone or Smartphone. Also Question - do I have to bu it once more to download it for my smartphone?

  A Google user: I've just downloaded this apk and would happily give it five stars if it permitted the option to share the data across multiple devices. I saw from your Jul 2015 answer to a related question that sync isn't possible now but may be on the next release - any idea when that will be? I have it on my smartphone for easier data entry, but the device I travel with is my smartphone, and it would be good not to have to create the entries twice.

  Julie Wolf: I thought it would allow me upload multiple pictures of a project (such as the front and back), but it will only me upload one. That is a disappointment. If I test to add a second image it simply replaces the first. Also there are no instructions on how to use this; you just have to figure it out yourself. I would also prefer an option to change to date/month format.

  A Google user: Why is my acc saying frozen pending review when I go to back it up via drop box? I just started using this apk more & love the features, I search it very useful for logging my pottery glazing. There are just the 2 things, I want the back up would work & I would like to be able to organize my pieces somehow. The favorites rating is good but I have numbered try tiles & entered them all out of order & would like to be able to rearrange them. Another than that I do like this apk a lot so far. Please assist.

  Meredith Inserra: It only uses metric troops, cm and kg, not inches and pounds. No option to use English troops. I can't figure out how to add more pics. I would love to be able to set a default that applies to most of my pieces so I don't have to add it each time. For example, I used the same clay body for 99% of my pieces, Standard white 240. It would be good if I should create that a default for all my pieces so I don't have to kind that in every time.

  rebecca sawyer: this apk is a good idea BUT... when I test to add a image, I press the camera icon at the top and then it says: "choose source". So if I click on the camera icon it opens my camera, and then I take a image, but nothing I do imports that image back to the apk. I've tried clicking the blue checkmark and each of the another buttons, Each puts me back at the Edit Ceramic screen, but without the image. SO I tried clicking instead on the download files on the "Choose Source" screen and then I can import a image that's already on my camera. So is that the method to do it? It works but it's not as convenient. I have a Google Pixel smartphone
