About the application:

Prerna Lakshya Apk is a product of the Department of School Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh (India) under Mission Prerna. The application can be used by teachers/ parents/ guardians to try a student’s learning levels versus competencies of the Prerna Lakshya (Class 1-5). These competencies specifically focus on foundational learning skills, including the student’s ability to read with a minimum WCPM (words correct per min), read with comprehension, and solve math issues. In order to use the application, simply choose the class and subject(s) you want to try the kid on, and start the try! After completing the try, students who have achieved their class relevant Prerna Lakshya competencies are celebrated as Prerak Balak/ Balika. In case the student has not achieved the Lakshya competency, they are encouraged to continue practising and take the try again! NOTE: This application requires internet connectivity during the first time the application is run. After that internet connectivity is optional, however connecting to the internet is suggested for increasing the number of try questions. This application requires the Read Along (Bolo) Application to be installed on the same smartphone (relevant for Class 1-3 Language, Class 1 Math). Once installed, the language must be changed to ‘Hindi’ and the Partner Code ‘upprerna’ must be added (using top left hand menu button).
