  A Google user: When you install the apk it uses chromatic notes and fairly complicated rhythm. But you can change the options to music only, rhythm only, or both, so you can use this as a sight singing trainer or a rhythm trainer. The music can be from the major, minor, or chromatic scale of length 5, 7, or 9. The only thing that would create this better is allowing the player to tap on a specific note to hear the pitch. Right now you can only select to hear the first note, the tonic, or the whole music. A various ear training that tests knowledge of intervals (with no sight singing), is the Interval Recognition apk which I also suggest.

  Doug: Of all related apks, I think this one is the best. It provides lots of levels of difficulty. It is simple to use. The words on the buttons and the notes on the staff are really big, making it simple to see them. The screens are not cluttered with extra info - just the basics which are required to use the apk. A lot of apks provide only a piano sound, which is a percussive sound. To clearly hear the pitch of each note, I prefer using a non-percussive sound, and two (apart from the piano sound) can be chosen in this apk, i.e. violin and French horn. (Initially, I did experience a trouble with some notes not sounding. But, when I uninstalled and then reinstalled the apk, it worked as expected).

  Jose Lu: As someone who regularly checks ear training tool to receive ahead, I've had much difficulty searching for tools that try melodic dictation and sight singing. This apk perfectly helps with both, has customizable levels for even the most advanced musicians. One thing though, it does not begin up to the menu, you have to hit your phones menu button while on the apk to create adjustments.

  Chris Hodge: This has a easy interface but has a lot of options to create it useful for singers at all levels. I like that you can set rhythm and music options independently. If I should have given this 4.5 stars I would have because there are a few of things that should create it even better: beaming of notes, bar lines, time signatures, tied notes. However, as it is it is still very useful for improving sight singing.

  Diana Chung: Good apk to learn how to sight read. The reading gets progressively harder: 3 notes 5 notes, progressively harder rhythms, intervals, etc. It's easy without asking you to make an acc. Would give 5 starts if they would split out minor. Progression is major, chromatic, then and major/minor/chromatic.

  Margaret Reid: Have fun the apk. For the dictation, doesn't seem to work on nexus 7. Tried the melody dictation on various difficulties and it only plays quarter notes and easy melodies. Can't seem to create it more challenging. Perhaps a bug?

  Tiffany Warren: It's good to teach 4ths and 5ths for sight singing skills, but the intervals are not realistic. I don't often sing 4ths and 5ths at the begin of a melodic line.
