Some of the a lot of useful features: 1) Line - allows to measure linear sizes in cm, m, mm or inches. 2) Distance meter - allows to measure distance from device camera to a fixed point on the detected 3D plane. 3) Angle - allows to measure corners on 3D planes. 4) Place and Perimeter. 5) Volume – allows to measure size of 3D objects. 6) Path - allows to calculate the length of the path. 7) Height - allows to measure height relative to the recognized surface. Photo Ruler is designed to accurately determine the size of any object by either taking a picture of it or measuring it on the screen. With its easy user-friendly design Image Ruler allows you to measure things just as conveniently and precisely as with a traditional ruler or tape measure. Double tap on screen to call ruler settings. There is a predefined list of Base Stuff, including Debit/credit card and Quarter. Choose the one you have. It is advised to use the Base Item which is closest in size to the object you want to measure using Ruler. Secondly, ensure that the Base Item and the object you want to measure using Ruler are in the same plane and the ruler camera is (or was) parallel to them. This is important to avoid photo distortions caused by the ruler camera perspective. Align the Blue arrows versus the Base item and Green arrows versus the object you wish to measure. The length of the measured object is shown in the top left corner of the Ruler screen. Ordinary ruler: Use screen as a traditional ruler. You can measure size of a little object by placing it on the device's screen and adjusting line limiters versus the object. The size of the object will be present at the bottom of the screen automatically. If you see that ruler’s scale is visually stretched/ shrunken, you can restart ruler calibration manually. On-screen ruler can be calibrated using various Base Stuff, including Debit/credit card or coin. Double tap on screen to call settings. Select between Imperial (inches) and Metric ruler (centimeters). Accuracy of Ruler: Given that you have accurately aligned markers, you will keep a measurement that is as precise as when using a traditional metric ruler or tape measure.

Quinn Dirks: I will use this all of the time! Is there a paid version. to receive rid of advertisements? Wow, alot of people saying it was hard to use... Downloading the apk over 4G and then setting up the image to measure my window for blinds took only like 1 min. Saved me time running to the old house to receive a tape measure. Now I don't even need a tape measure as long as I have my smartphone. Good apk, would spend a few bucks for an advertisement gratis ver.
