About the application:

Personal Share is that only designated receiver can begin files. You can revoke the permission to begin the file at any time. Keep your data secure through Personal Share. Share files privately, prevent recipients from resharing and set expiration dates. Anonymity is guaranteed by non-account. And if the recipient receives the file, the file is deleted from the server. [How to use] Using Personal Share feature, you can share files such as images, videos, recording files and text. There are 2 methods to use Personal Share feature like below. 1. Go to Settings > Biometrics and Safety > Personal Share > Choose a recipient of the contact list and press the Send button. 2. In Gallery apk or My files apk, choose a file and tap Share and then tap Personal Share, choose a recipient of the contact list and press the Send button. If you choose "Add Personal Share to Apks screen ", Personal Share Icon will be added on the screen. You can choose up to 5 people. You may send up to 10 files totaling up to 20MB at once. Personal Share only supports 1:1 file sharing. [Key Feature] You can customize file reading periods from 1 min to 180 days. (Default setting is 2 days) To change expiry date, follow the below ways. 1. Before sending the file Go to Settings > Biometrics and Safety > Personal Share > Settings icon on the right top corner > File expiration date setting 2. After sending the file ① In Personal Share apk, choose a recipient on the list of Sent tab, and choose a file what you wish to change expiry date. ② Tap More (︙). ③ Tap Change expiration date. And If you wish to revoke the permission of recipient before the expiry date, choose a file what you wish to revoke the permission and tap more (︙) and then tap Revoke sharing. After the reading period has expired, the recipient can not view the file anymore. *** Needed Apk Permissions *** Below mandatory permission is needed for primary features of Personal Share. Even if optional permission are denied. primary features may work properly. [Mandatory permission] - Contacts : Used to transfer files through the recipient's contact lists stored on the device - Smartphone : Used to check of validating the user's smartphone number [Optional permission] - Storage : Used to transfer files stored on the device [Eligible Device] Private Share can be only supported Galaxy mobile smartphone that have Android device OS 9.0(POS) or higher. Go to Settings > Biometrics and Safety > Personal Share Tablet and PC is not supported Personal Share feature and it's only supported between Galaxy mobile devices. ※ Personal Share requires an MSISDN(phone number) from a SIM card. If your smartphone number info is not recorded on your SIM card, we cannot provide the Personal Share service due to policy reasons. After confirming whether the smartphone number is written correctly using the Setting menu (Setting > About smartphone) and if it is not verified, please contact your telecommunication service provider and request them to record your smartphone number in your SIM card. ※ The supported file formats are as below. - Image(.jpeg, .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .webp) - Video(.webm, .mp4, .3gp, .mkv) - Audio(.mp3, .wav,.ogg, .m4a) - Text (.txt, .pdf)
