Took me mins to figure out that the volume does drop of significantly when decreasing between 150 to 100 hz. Exactly what I wanted to know.   Carlin Lemon: I've spent 2 years waiting and searching unsuccessfully for an apk that does what this one does. Easy, glitch gratis audio with quick frequency sweeping and a rotary ok tuning dial.. Loving it!! I would still love to see the vertical slider reach to the top of the screen for maximum resolution, and would recommend adding a long press feature on the dial to be able to choose greater or lesser sensitivity, which would create this apk even more useful to me. Thank you for such a good apk!!

  Michael Desrosiers: I required something to confirm some FFT I was doing on a microphone input. Works good! Little, fast to load, no permissions! It would be sort of nice to be able to compose tones (440hz + 880hz, eg) with weighting, but that's beyond even what I expected out of this apk.

Swan: Yah- after spending hours checking AF sig. gene apks. that'd suit BYOD ( Bring Your Own Device) intro. & casual electronic lab work, I've found Pro Audio Tone Gene the best of the bunch. It's responsive “knob twiddler” style controls closely emulate related workbench instruments, making later professional gear less daunting. Freq setting and tweaking is a breeze, with LF accuracy awesome to ~1kHz. However some freq. deviations (tending ~1%) noted on my Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 beyond this. Their "Bopper" waveform setting needs more explanation as well! Ideal for amp evaluation,casual hearing tests, dog training (!), physics lab work (acoustic resonance, beats etc) and perhaps even “give me a C” musical instrument tuning.

  Donald Aehl: I used it to refoam my subwoofer without shimming. Sent a 50hz signal to the speaker while I glued down the foam gasket to ensure it was perfectly centered. Should probably use a few more presets, otherwise it's excellent in its simplicity!
