Requires Android device 9 or Android device 10 The Johns Hopkins Prodensity mobile apk provides real-time awareness of place density on the Johns Hopkins campus. Individuals who return to work and study can use the apk to follow Johns Hopkins density policies and best distancing practices by monitoring the number of people in their campus work spaces. When work and study resumes, individuals will use the app’s QR scanner to check in and out of buildings where they have an assigned work place. They can also view the capacity of their assigned work places before they leave for work. If a place is at capacity, participants can view squad members who are checked into their workspaces, or click to call for assistance if there is a scheduling trouble. The apk also sends an alert to the front desk at a designated entrance when a participant checks in. The front desk can confirm place vacancy, and match the individual to their profile before confirming entry. The apk will notify individuals that they are confirmed by the front desk at their entry point and can proceed to their work place. Participants also keep notifications when their work places reach maximum capacity, when vacancy becomes accessible, and when they forget to check out of their space. Please note: currently the apk is only accessible to those who are associated with a Johns Hopkins research lab.
