  alex malik: This is a heavy step up from before where you had to scan the qr code and it opened in a web browser. The apk is simple to use, intuitive, it is easy and no fuss. You log in and see your projects, choose a project and it loads onto what ever device you have. You just have to be attentive the elements in your project are reactive to the various screen sizes when you begin the project on an ipad or an iphone.

  Chris Jensen: Overall I like the user. The key missing feature is to let you to play a local HTML file of your prototype offline via the user. Seems like a easy add and would be super helpful for in-person demos. The user is sometimes slow to load and the formatting occasionally appears wonky. which offline playback may fix. Generally very useful though!

  Wesley Schrauwen: Been using proto for nearly 2 years now. Decided to do a fresh review as a lot has changed since I started. First off; updates come quite regularly and theres a fairly active community. Also theres quite a few classes accessible however most of it is quite unnecessary. The ui is very intuitive and you can just dive right in without too much problem. The two largest benefits to this program over others is how simple it is to give to clients as well as design fresh or redesign existing features. The client can literally download this apk and view their app-to-be. Feature design is a breeze. However! There are four drawbacks to proto, which depending on your use case might be deal breakers. It is online only. There is no true conditional logic, currently it is possible to embed some scripts or use the existing framework but its clunky and slow. The Android device apk is awful, it would be better to not even allow your clients know your building on proto if they will be viewing the mockup on Android device. Lastly there is no fast method to receive screenshots of every screen on the apk, making design documentation a very tedious process. Still though. Very awesome apk to have!

  Jimmy Lee: If there was a method to toggle on/off the persistent Android device nav buttons at the bottom, that'd be good. [Edit] I could elaborate, and say that my trouble was with my prototype not fitting to the full width of my screen when I viewed it on this android device device (Moto X 2014) but it's ok on iOS. I'm left with black bars each side, and like I said it's because of the persistent Android device nav buttons. I have used apks that go full screen, so it could be an option here too.

  Dave O'Brien: Previewing on the Web or the iPhone apk is smooth, but slow and jerky on all but the fastest Android device phones. Definitely needs some Android device optimization.

  Myk T: I have been waiting for this with good anticipation, glad it's out but my project doesn't quite work same as the Web preview does. Look forward to seeing improvements, I know it's just a v1 Slide-out menu doesn't work same as the web apk, fix and I'll give 5 stars!
