  karen s: I just wanted to reassure another smart drive players that with the fresh pushtracker e2, it is not neccessary to use this apk to control it...this is simply the wheelchair equivalent of a step counter, and not something I am interested in. The Smartdrive MX2+ apk that you download to the pushtracker itself is what controls the smart drive, not this apk. I thought it necessary to note as was panicking that I had wasted my cash on the fresh pushtracker thinking I might have to run this badly rated apk.

  Ivan Collin: Now have E2 tick watch and everything now syncs perfectly, only point I have is apk on smartphone can no longer alter smartdrive settings, speed, acceleration, sensitivity etc. Can now only be done on watch. Being able to adjust settings on both is awesome for us older tiring eyes 🙂

  A Google user: Apk doesn't measure distance traveled when using the smart switches only when you use the tic watch. I traveled over 3 miles yesterday, my first day with the smart drive and only using the switches but none of the travel was documented. However today if I turn on the drive with the watch and keep the smart drive in my lap to experiment, it shows all the distance traveled. Please modernize this as it is not a fair representation of our use when using the switches.

  David Dolnick: Improves performance in some places (high WiFi or Bluetooth density), but over it's a awful implementation with awful battery life, significant and repeated connectivity problems, and awful hardware that requires not just this tool, but a cluster of tool to function, even as poorly as this one does. Help is sketchy at best, and I search myself needing to carry and use BOTH the original Push Tracker wristband and this unit to achieve some reasonable semblance of function. The Watch is frequently unresponsive to taps or double taps, loses connection far too often, and is among the worst apks I use. The hardware is extremely difficult to use and set or restart, has extremely awful battery life, even after I contacted Permobil and making significant adjustments to the settings. I was considering switching to Android device phones to align my different OS options, but this hardware single-handedly convinced me otherwise. I am glad that I did, as I now see an Apple WatchOS, so at least I know the hardware is sound, although I have scant hope of the tool being even marginally acceptable.

  Naomi Phillips: Updates PT 'successfully' and then fails each time on restarting PT. Won't modernize SD. Dialogue box appearing over and over, even on top of each another, telling me to modernize PT and SD when that's exactly what it's in the middle of doing (albeit unsuccessfully). If I ever receive the modernize to work, I wonder whether it contains the ability to actually tell the time, as none of my PTs have kept anything like accurate time (quickly goes hours out), which is ridiculous.

  MsWheely: Hate the fact you now use a ticWatch, which is basically a smartwatch, need Bluetooth on my smartphone and the watch (which drains the batteries super fast)to use my smartdrive not to mention 2 apks. Had my fresh watch for 4 months, and it barely connects with my smartdrive. Hold getting pop-ups to register the ticwatch in the apk (which could go automatically through the wearos apk) it doesn't it says its optional, and yet every 10 seconds it pops up🙄 I just wish a system that works together!

  Lisa Renee Jordan: Absolute garbage! The PushTracker tool has ALWAYS been garbage & has NEVER worked the method it could. I FINALLY figured out that to track distance the SD has to be both on AND connected to the (also absolute garbage) smart watch, which drains the watch battery really quickly. Apparently instead of using the GPS that's built into LITERALLY EVERY PHONE, they chose to use the SD wheel to track distance. Why is there no integration b/t the watch and the GPS function on my smartphone to track distance?

  Douglas Howey: Horrible Apk from Permobil for a $6,000 push wheel (SmartDrive) for wheelchair players. Rip-Off! The companion Smart Watch apk is called SmartDrive MX2+ and it only works on tacky Mobvoi Tic Watch E2, like something from a vending machine. I bought a nicer watch by Fossil that runs Google Wear OS, android device. But Permobil has fixed their tool to ONLY run on the Mobvoi Tic Watch E2. The E2 for people with disabilities is death. The watch touch screen ability is horrible for selecting accidently the wrong item, or going to sleep too quick. The connectivity is worse with dropped connections. The Push Tracker apk on a smart smartphone does NOT display battery level for the SmartDrive. Permobil charges $50,000 for a powerchair, $6,000 for a manual chair, $6,000 for a SmartDrive, but they cannot search a developer to let Apk on Apple Watch, Samsung Watch, nor any watch besides the cheap, buggy Mobvoi Tic Watch E2. Wireless connection, Bluetooth and Acceleration Sensor are the only needs to install apk and control SmartDrive. The SmartDrive itself is a solid piece of machinery, control with a Smart Watch is apparently nigh impossible in year 2021. I cannot give this more than 1 star because it fails at its main objective, give people with disabilities a fighting possibility at being active in the community.

How can such a high end product have such a strange, seemingly useless apk? Modernize: Apk keeps closing I am uninstalling . Never once more will I use these people's products . Half baked idea and no time spent updating . These ppl know it's for a wheel chair and should care less Oddly the IOS apk works ok . Thank goodness
