Initially got this to help in scripts for other Android device apk and got over excited when I saw it also does SL4A. So now I can create Lua scripts for Tasker, too! Love you!!

  A Google user: Nice. But have noticed problem with scripts execution: if you begin one script via GUI (i.e. "hello player") and then test begin other (i.e. "hello globe") you can still observe effect of execution of the first script. Still awaiting for Lua 5.3.x with help of bitwise operations.

  Tritonio: A lot of bugs unfortunately. Shutup.lua doesn't work anymore. Running the hello player script and then trying to run any another script still runs the hello player script.

  A Google user: It's not terrible, but it has some beautiful serious unaddressed problems. You have to name the extension .lua or the file won't run and just seems to disappear, the file browser is messy, files need to be saved before executed, exiting scripts takes too a lot of button presses, changing apks without exiting the script leaves a persistent notification, syntax highlighting isn't very awesome, etc.

  jan harald: it's totally broken like 2/8 examples work the only thing it's awesome for is extracting data from it and using it properly luarocks gets passed wrong parameters shutup.lua plain out errors only "hello" scripts work properly (well, they both give the exact same output so I'm not sure even that's working properly)

  Alexander Sokol: Can't understand why your application needs all these permission like camera, contacts and smartphone logs for lua scripting? And why you didn't modernize target ver of application to help permission dialogs? It really strange and looks like safety risks for players...
