  Sameer Variend: The gratis ver is already excellent, the pro ver takes it up a notch. Having multiple groups of lights with separate tiles is a must have for deep integration with the hue ecosystem. Being able to set icons and the state of the lights accentuates that this was made for someone who wants control.

  Frank Anderson: Very practical light switch (on/off). Simple setup - satisfied that you are able to group the lights per switch. I have Amazon Echos, Siri, and even Google Assistant that I can use, but there are a lot of times where I need to be quite or quickly turn on/off the lights while I'm already on my smartphone. Kudos!

  Jason Hearne: Allow me begin by stating that if you wish Hue options in your tiles then this is the best option by far ... that said, for such a bonus price it has flaws. Tile state : not only is this in "experimental" state there's a clear warning that this will.cause battery drain. This would be acceptable if it weren't for ... Out of Home Connectivity : which simply does not exist. The whole point of Hue is to enable me full remote access and control to my lighting, sadly these tiles only work when you're on the same WiFi network as your bridge. In summary ... when home this is the best method to receive Hue in your drop down shortcuts menu, but if you have a battery hogging smartphone and need out of home connectivity then save your £2.

  Jeffrey Rogiers: The apk works good when it works. But there are 2 flaws. 1) the major flaw is that after a few days/weeks the apk loses its ability to reach the bridge and you have to restart the application to use it once more 2) you're needed to be on the same network to use it. Please fix the first trouble, I am tired of having to restart the apk and reconnect it every few days!

  Heman McCray: Upgraded to pro and now I hold getting an error notice that I'm on a various WiFi network. I restart it and it works for a bit then gives me the error notice once more... trouble still persists after 2 weeks. Use "Hue Essentials" instead.
