RaceJoy is made specifically for running, cycling and triathlon happenings with a focus on the participant and spectator experience. Features vary by happening and may contain live smartphone tracking, progress alerts, results, race info, images, Send-a-Cheer and much more! There are three distinct experiences in RaceJoy: -Timing Integration Events -PhoneTrak Events -Training Days Timing Integration Events: These are happenings that have contracted with RaceJoy to provide a bonus experience for participants and spectators. Features are gratis and provided by the happening or sponsor(s). Features vary by race and may include: -Tracking with Progress Alerts: There is no need to carry your smartphone as this is based on the participant’s BIB/chip as they cross over timing points on the course. -Scored Race Results within moments of crossing the finish line. -Automatic Progress Postings to Twitter (with your approval, of course!). -Essential race info like schedules, FAQs, race news, BIB numbers, and more. -Your official race images and RunPix information. -Optional PhoneTrak for live smartphone tracking and Send-a-Cheer! PhoneTrak Events: These are happenings that offer: -Live GPS smartphone tracking on the actual course map. -Send-a-Cheer! (fun motivational audio clips). -Proximity alerts (spectators and waiting relay squads receive an alert when a participant is drawing near). -MeetUp program for seeing where you are in relation to a participant. -Optional Scored Race Results within moments of crossing the finish line and Images based on event. The race participants must carry their smartphone during the race to experience these features. Training Days This feature enables athletes to have their mates and family track their progress live on a map and send motivational cheers during long training runs or rides. All PhoneTrak features are accessible in Training Days, along with unique motivational cheers to assist you through those tough moments. Add a Race? If you would like to use the smartphone tracking for an upcoming race, send us your request at [email protected]. Battery Usage RaceJoy’s live smartphone tracking feature is ONLY activated during the hours of the happening. When using Training Days, the athlete turns on/off tracking as required. Use of this GPS technology running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. You may disable this under settings at anytime during the happening to conserve battery life if needed. A Google user: My wife tracked me running the Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon, and this apk worked good. She always knew exactly where I was, and she drove to 4 territories along the course to personally cheer me on. A Google user: The apk worked really well and was up to date with my place. Yes the apk does have some bugs but it was functional. I was able to track my times and split times. The apk was helpful in telling me what pace I was at and it stopped once I finished the race. I am satisfied that did not have to stop it by myself. Overall it was a very useful apk and very helpful. I would suggest using this apk!

A Google user: I used the RaceJoy apk during the 2014 Park to Park Half Marathon in Iowa latest weekend, and it was good! My husband couldn't be there, but he sent me a few cheers, some of which created me laugh during the tough miles! I especially liked the "Go mommy, go!" I'll be running my first full marathon on November, and my family won't be able to be there. RaceJoy is an option for that race, so I'm excited that my husband and songs will be able to be cheer me on and assist me finish.

A Google user: My husband tracked me during my first marathon latest month and sent me encouraging cheers throughout, it was unbelievable!! I got a fresh smartphone, though, and couldn't receive it to download. Have other marathon tomorrow he wanted to track, posted on the review about it not working. The Race Joy developers contacted me immediately and got it fixed, I was very impressed with their promptness and concern. Now hope to have a good race with my sweetie cheering me on!!

A Google user: I enjoyed using this Race apk! I had so much fun watching my daughter run in a Utah Marathon far away from other state. My favorite feature was sending uplifting cheers and songs while she ran. I loved the live statistics and alerts when she passed a marker. I want a few primary instructions had popped up ahead of time as I opened each page like saying there's a limit on the number of messages that can be sent. I wish to search other apk like this one that can always send encouraging messages.
