Using either your device's place or a searched for place, with adjustable thresholds, RadioLand queries a database containing every FM radio station in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. Using Longley-Rice propagation data, RadioLand returns a signal strength value that factors in terrain and another obstacles. View the listings either in list form, or on a map view with color-coded markers representing signal strengths. Each station has a listed programming format and slogan. Filter list or map views by format, slogan, call letters, or frequency. Coverage maps for choose U.S. stations showing their Longley-Rice projections are also accessible in the apk. View a terrain profile to present elevation impediments between your searched for place and the origin radio station.
