Not sure what bitrate streams they use I've had it blasting out a beautiful high quality Bluetooth speaker and it sounded good, but maybe a selector for stream quality would be a nice addition in future.   Patrick Keogh: The developer was type enough to troubleshoot my trouble. The work around, if the apk takes over and locks up your smartphone, is to reset the apk and disable visualization before playing melody. After that the apk works ok.

  Andrew Hawkins: The apk looks awesome, and is simple to use. I very much appreciate the favorites folder, as well as the Chromecast help. The only thing I would like added is the ability to choose bitrates. While 64 kbps is mobile-friendly and sounds ok for the most part, I would like to be able to listen in higher quality in territories where bandwidth is less of a concern, such as on home WiFi. Something like a 64 kbps default, with a high-quality 128 kbps option in a menu setting would be appropriate.
